You have heard us talk here on the podcast about possible legislation involving a carbon border adjust mechanism (CBAM). A carbon border adjustment mechanism applies a tariff on imported goods based on the carbon emissions generated during their production, while also including rebates or exemptions on domestically produced exports. 

And this week we're excited to welcome Climate Leadership Council CEO Greg Bertelsen to the podcast. The CLC has done extensive research on CBAM policies and legislation. And Greg helps dive deeper into how a CBAM would have a positive effect on many different sectors of the U.S. economy.
