Brent Axe recaps Syracuse basketball's 77-73 loss to Pittsburgh at the JMA Wireless Dome on Saturday afternoon.

SU lost to Pitt despite out-rebounding the Panthers 48-31, with Eddie Lampkin collecting 23 of those boards, and hitting 11 3-pointers. 

Pitt was able to overcome that by only committing three turnovers and shooting 58% in the 2nd half against the Orange. 

Brent also looks ahead to a unique road trip for the Orange to the West Coast to take on Stanford and Cal with Duke looming at the Dome after that.
