How should Christians be preparing for the cataclysmic events preceding the end of the Age and the Second Coming of Christ? Given the current state of affairs in the world, it's hard to avoid the conclusion that maybe, just maybe, the Lord is returning soon. It’s a sobering thought. So, what do we do? In 2 Corinthians 5, we find three assignments – three challenges – for us to live out as we eagerly await the return of Jesus.

The biblical books of Daniel and Revelation talk about a great and terrible tribulation coming on earth. Jesus says it will be like a time never seen before. Could we be in the beginning stages of this Great Tribulation? What will it look like? And why does God allow such devastation on the earth? In this message we will look at some of the unique marks of the Great Tribulation and discuss what it is supposed to teach us.

On one hand Jesus says nobody knows the day or hour He will return (Matthew 24:36), but Jesus also says that we should be aware of certain signs that tell us the end is near (Matthew 24:33). What are those signs? Could we be closer than we think? Are any of these events unfolding right now? In this message we will look at three things that must happen before Christ’s final return and where we’re at on that timeline.

Christians know that Jesus will return to earth someday, but there is a lot of confusion around what the Bible says about it and when this takes place. Some Christians think the Bible is clear that Jesus’ returns to take Christians to heaven before the Great Tribulation. But is the Bible clear about this? Are there other possibilities (despite what the Left Behind series told us)? In this message, we will kick-off the series by exploring the different viewpoints of the doctrine of the “rapture” and what it means for our life today.

If there is one thing we need to get right, it is where we will spend eternity. This is the most important question of our life. Jesus teaches us that it’s both a gate and a path. But how do you know if you’ve entered the right gate? How do you know if you’re on the right path? In a culture where it’s easy to be fooled, Jesus forces us to examine our life.

It’s so easy to worry our lives away. How encouraging that Jesus gives us permission not to worry! In fact, out of compassion for us, He commands us not to worry. But not being caught up in the anxieties of life is easier said than done. So how do we actually stop worrying? In this message we will look at the reasons Jesus gives us for not being anxious about our material needs and discover the true key to living a life free from the worries of the world.

We’ve all heard it, maybe we’ve said it: “Don’t judge me.” Maybe that’s right. Afterall, Jesus Himself says that we should not judge. But then how do we make wise decisions in relationships, how do we protect our kids from bad influences and dangerous people, and how do we help friends and family who are headed down a destructive path? Did Jesus really mean we are not to make any kinds of judgement towards others? In this message we will examine what Jesus says on this subject—it might not be what you think.
