This is your host Kathy Belletty. Today we're talking about the stuff that most folks want to avoid...Compliance and the pressure placed on your admissions teams to perform. There's no denying that Career Schools have been under scrutiny for decades upon decades, but we need to ask ourselves WHY?
Was it because of fudging placement numbers, stealing aka "tiefin," (in my Bajan accent) financial aid funds? Could it be our Admissions Departments? Hmmmm.
Here's the deal, sometimes it may feel like your Advisors AND Enrollment Directors are constantly losing the battle, because they may be given unrealistic and unattainable expectations.
If they do NOT meet those expectations, their jobs may be on the line.
Here's what happens in most cases. Your advisors end up feeling pressured to meet those unattainable expectations without a clear plan, they get sloppy and then "SHOPPED," and guess what? They end up on the "chopping block" anyway...so what can we do to avoid this?
Should Enrollment Directors be given the same or even a HIGHER expectation as their enrollment teams? Oh, you don't want to miss what I have to say about this topic.
Grab those headphones and tune into this discussion.
