We celebrate the 17th annual Apocalypse Meow event, it’s happening this Saturday, November 2 at recordBar. Apocalypse Meow is an annual fundraiser concert for the Midwest Music Foundation. MMF is an amazing non-profit that helps KC area musicians when they need emergency medical assistance, mental health aid, and so much more.
During the show we’ll be joined by two special guests and great musicians, Jocelyn Olivia Nixon of The Creepy Jingles and Kasey Rausch. Jocelyn and her band, The Creepy Jingles are one of four bands on the lineup for the event, along with Julia Haile, FlareThaRebel, and Nathan Corsi and My Atomic Daydream. We will play music from all four acts.
Kasey Rausch is joining us to tell her story of how Midwest Music Foundation assisted her, as they have assisted hundreds of KC area musicians over the last 17 years.
This broadcast, Tuesday at 6PM is going to be a good one, filled with silliness and storytelling all happening in the name of Apocalypse Meow, Midwest Music Foundation, and we’ll shine a light on the amazing Abigail Henderson - the person who started it all and now her torch has carried this event to its 17th year.
