A story in English by journalist Jhostyn Díaz Tenorio, published in the February 2023 edition, "Start at the river." The story won international recognition with the Best Student Solutions Journalism award at the Solutions Jouranlism Network's first-ever global sojo prizes in 2024.
Jhostyn reports on the Interurban Biological Corridors of Costa Rica, and how this legal structure has become a tool to prioritize the recovery of green areas in the cities of the Greater Metropolitan Area, especially in the protected areas of the rivers that cross the cities. This article is read by Katherine Stanley Obando.
