    Segment 1: Children's Home Needs Your Help
    Amber Banda interviews Italia Solis, Community Relations and Development Coordinator for the Lee & Beulah Moor Children's Home. The goal of the Lee Moor home is to be the premier general and residential operation and child-placing agency in the greater southwest region.
    .
    Amber and Italia talk about common misconceptions about this children's home, as well as programs that are offered to the kids and their families. This includes therapy, foster and adoption services, life and skills development, tutoring, recreation activties, unplanned pregnancy counseling, and preparation for adult living.
    .
    Now is your time to help! They are constructing 2 new houses for the kids that need to be furnished. You can donate new items or even make monetary donations for household items like furniture, kitchen ware, towels, blankets, etc. Other ways to help include their Birthday Club where you can actually sponsor and deliver a cake yourself, donate food to go, donate esssential home and school supplies, or offer services for building and maintenance repair.     Bikers Helping Local Children's Hospital
    Get your motorcycles and cages, (that's CARS in "biker talk"), ready...the El Paso Border Run is back at it! Whether you or have 2,3 or 4 wheels, you can be a part of this great event and raise funds for your local El Paso Children's Hospital through the Children's Mirace Network. Last year they raised around $20,000 dollars and hope to donate more this year.

    Amber Banda interviews Alexa Velazquez, Director of Children's Miracle Network in EP, as well as Sammy and Andy Flores, both members of the El Paso Border Run committee and Poderoso Car Club, (celebrating 30 years in the Sun City)!
    .
    Sammy and Andy talk about their involvment with the club and motorcycles, and their personal story with their son and the connection to the El Paso Children's Hospital. Alexa talks about where these donated funds go and how this event has helped the kids in the hospital.
    .
    The 2025 El Paso Border Run will be Sept 20th. All bikes and vehicles can register at Barnett Harley-Davidson that day at 8am, KSU (kick stands up, or leave), at 10:30am. This bike run will have a few stops including the final stop where there will be food, music, raffles, prizes and more. Details will be disclosed closer to the event on their Instagram and Facebook, (El Paso Border Run 2025). 
    They are currently looking for raffle donations and sponsors, and you can message them on their social medias.

    Segment 2: Amber Banda interviews Daniely Gutierrez, Family Community Engagement & Mental Health Specialist, Special Education Department, for ESC19. ESC19 is 1 of 20 education service centers for Region 19, helping to improve educational outcomes for children in our city. Amber and Daniely talk about what exactly is Region 19, how can parents and educators contact and take advantage of their help, and the role parents and teachers play in student success, and clarify some terminology to help the community better understand what Region 19 does for the community.

    Region 19 is having their 3rd Annual Health & Career Fair August 6th from 9am-2:30pm at the Head Start Multi-Purpose Center (11670 Chito Samaniego on the eastside). There will be various agencies available to promote healthy living, personal empowerment, health screenings, sports physicals, hands-on activties, employment help, and if you have a child with special needs, there will be people there available to answer your questions!

    Segment 1: Amber Banda interviews Nicole Schiff, Executive Director for the Paso del Norte Center of Hope. The Center of Hope provides services for victims and survivors of human trafficking. Many people don't want to think of this happening in their own backyard, but it is. As of this interview, the average age of victims getting services is 14 years old.

    Amber Banda interviews Angelica Delhoyo, Lead Family Support Specialist for FAYS, and Alberto Fuentes, Family Support Specialist at Bright Futures Family Resource Center.

    They talk about the FREE services that FAYS offers for families with kids ages 6-17, the importance of good family communication, why taking advantage of these services isn't only for "when you have problems," and how it's important for parents and caretakers to be "selfish" sometimes.

This fund was created to help young women and girls have a louder voice in the arts and entertainment industry via scholarships, guidance, workshops, programs, and networking with loal charities."Cowgirl Up invites you to saddle up, break barriers, and make a lasting impact because every girl deserves the chance to lasso her dream."

    Have you ever encountered an injured bird or other wildlife and not know what to do? Call 2nd Chance Wildlife! This group of dedicated volunteers help rescue, rehabilitate, and release native wildlife. Taking care of living things around us teaches us empathy and is a reminder that we share this world with many living creatures that play a viatl role in where we live.

    They are in huge need of volunteers, funding, and in-kind donations. Volunteers go through training to learn vital skills to help these animals survive and thrive. They have 2 locations in the westside, and caring for these animals is not cheap!     Segment 1: Amber Banda has Emergence Health Network back, just in time for back to school! She talks with Noreen Jaramillo, Director of Communications, and Krista Wingate, Chief of Child Adolescent Services, about challenges faced by parents and kids alike when going back. They discuss transitioning to different grades, separation anxiety and how to ease it, how to say NO more to keep your peace of mind, finding a balance with your kids when it comes to school and outside activties and more.

    They have 2 amazing events coming up to help with the mental stress as well as some freebies includin school supplies! The first event will their "Building Minds Feeling Factory" at La Nube Saturday, July 12th. The first 400 people get FREE tickets!

    Their other event will be their Back-To-School symposiun at the Starlight Event Center August 2nd. They will have 300 full-sized backpacks and 300 caregiver/parent bags to give away at this event. Find the QR on code on their website to register.

What started off as a Facebook group and community for mothers needing help from other moms has turned into a force of change within the city. With over 11,000 active members, the MOB Facebook page can help you conquer the world.....or at least your kid's next birthday party.

    From helping moms find the perfect Bluey party decorations to getting El Paso's all abilities playground at Ascarate, MOB gives back to the community in huge ways. Join them for their Back-To-School event July 12th, 9-12 at Bassett. This FREE event will hve free backpacks, haircuts, sports physicals, vaccines, a uniform swap, and more surprises that you really won't want to miss, (trust me, I know their secrets and it's going to be great). There will be local vendors and information booths,  STEAM Projects courtesy of Marathon and a Family Zone, so make your pans to atted this free event. Did we mention it's FREE?

This program helps with behavioral health services, therapies on how to connect with your child, helps to enhance the attachment bond between caregiver and child, and so much more. earn about a simple balloon game that can help build trust, why the first 5 years are so important, and the importance of giving yourself grace as a parent.

    Segment 1: Amber Banda talks with Grace Ortiz and William Dozal from the Extreme Weather Task Force. They are having a Summer Safety and Fan Drive, collecting new fans to distribute households that meet the criteria for a new fan including the elderly, low income houses with young children, disabled persons.

She also talks about various community partners they work with and how the community can come together to help save these lands for future generations.
