Every woman feels stuck or stagnant at some point in her life.
Many years ago, Whitney quit her glossy but taxing job at a creative agency to focus more on motherhood and keep a toe in the professional waters with freelance work.
She thought this dramatic change would rinse away all the stress and confusion she'd encountered while establishing her equilibrium as a mom who also desired professional and creative expansion.
But after leaving her company with the hope of a blissfully balanced life, she felt more confused than ever. She was deeply relieved to release the pressure of her previous job and have more time with her girls, yet mourned adult conversations that went beyond what vegetables everyone's kids were eating. She also missed the energy of collaboration and being in a creative environment. For a long time, she marinated in a feeling of being stuck in the murky middle - of closing the door on a major part of her identity but not quite yet stepping into the next version of herself she craved.
When a mentor asked Whitney a pivotal question, she was finally able to start making changes in her life that invited in momentum and flow again. Listen to today's episode to hear about this important reflection and learn how to move past feeling stuck and stagnant in your life.

When people think of "minimalism," they often imagine an elusive, picture-perfect room straight out of Pinterest or a wardrobe limited to a capsule collection. But, as Whitney's guest Desirae Endres, the host of The Minimal-ish Podcast, reveals, minimalism is all about cutting through the noise and clutter to make space for what truly counts in life. And this is especially true for summer time when we feel pressured to fill our entire schedules with activities and things to do with our kids.
In their conversation, Desirae breaks down the four pillars of 'minimal-ish' living: reducing the stuff in our lives, aligning our daily actions with our core values, clearing the mental clutter, and striving for contentment. Whitney and Desirae explore how to put these principles into action to craft a summer that's both memorable and deeply satisfying, particularly for families.
Desirae offers practical tips for planning summer adventures, finding joy in the every day, and staying present without succumbing to the pressure to overdo it. She also shares strategies for creating a 'more and less' list to prioritize meaningful activities and reminds us to question the motivations driving our choices.

Did you know that your home can directly impact your spiritual and self-development? In fact, it's essential that the energy of our home supports our healing and overall well-being. It's not uncommon for women to feel overwhelmed by life and notice that their homes feel chaotic too, but it doesn't have to be that way. Through interior design and Feng Shui, it is possible to create a harmonious environment that nurtures our spirit and enhances our lives.
Whitney's guest, Sara Ann Kostelnik is the founder of Jade Scott Design. She works with clients as an interior designer consultant and is the host of The Mind, Body, Home Podcast. During their conversation, Sarah shares her unique approach called mind, body, home alignment. She also talks about the concept of clutter as a manifestation of emotions, the practice of clarity cleaning and the importance of creating restful spaces.
This conversation isn't about having a Pinterest-perfect home, but rather getting curious about what your home can tell you about your own unmet needs or perhaps emotional clutter. It's also about getting you to think about your home as an ally rather than a source of stress.

Our intuition is that inner knowing of what is true. In fact, it can almost be seen as a personal GPS that guides us and speaks our truth from the inside out. When we regularly practice connecting with and trusting this inner guidance system, it becomes much easier to make choices that support our highest good. And while our inner impulses and natural instincts are always there, there can be challenges that can obscure our intuition.
During this episode, Whitney offers practical strategies to forge a deeper connection with our inner guidance system through practice and intention. She emphasizes the importance for women to trust their inner wisdom despite society telling us to seek external validation.
Whitney also encourages women to create a space for introspection by asking themselves what they truly desire. Lastly, she discusses the difference between the voice of the ego and the voice of the intuition, explaining the kindness of the intuition while the ego can have some limiting thoughts.
This episode is sure to give you some simple and tangible practices to foster a stronger bond with your intuition.
