In this episode Alex and George discuss the fundraiser Alex started in order to raise money for meals for families in need at Thanksgiving. The campaign is called “My six day journey to feed 500,000 people”. Alex is going to run a six day race(144hours) in order to raise enough money to reach the goal of $70,000. We discuss my training, who I hired for a coach, what motivated me to do this and teaming up with Feeding South Florida to make it all happen.

Our guest today is Eric Esposito. He is a triathlete competitor, Ironman finisher, traumatic brain  injury survivor and the host of Traumatic brain injury vlog. We discuss Eric’s accident when he was hit head on commuting to work on his bike. We discuss his road to recovery and all the ups and downs he’s had to go through. Eric tells us about battling depression, ketamine therapy to combat it and finding his new calling after writing a book describing his experience and able to help others going through similar experiences. Now 3 years later he fully committed to sharing his story and helping others dealing brain injuries. He is back training for triathlons and plans on competing in 14 events in 2021. Hi Everyone! I am bringing you another special episode for you guys today. I have team Margo with me today. Margo, her daughter Andrea and Dr. Steven Zanfini come on the podcast today to tell us their  journey of recovery after Margo had a brain aneurysm back in 2017. Andrea found her mom Margo in her home roughly 19 hours after the aneurysm happened. The doctors told Andrea her mom has a 0% chance of making it because of how long her brain was filling up with blood. They did immediate surgery to install a coil in the aneurysm which prevents blood from getting into it. After that only time could tell if she would recover or not. That’s when the road to recovery began. Andrea shares her experience with caring for her mother and finally making the decision to be her primary care taker to ensure she gets the best care and opportunity to heal. Andrea walks us through her process to remove most of her moms pharmaceuticals and replace them with all natural holistic remedies( essential oils, CBD, celery juice, and more). After about a year and a half of rehab and recovery Andrea found Dr. Steve Zanfini of Complete Chiropractic and that’s where Team Margo was born. Dr. Steve’s approach and understanding of functional neurology really helped Margo’s progress in recovery. Dr. Steve tells the story of how he was able to get Margo from non-verbal to verbal after using his cold laser on the brain and a few other tricks. It’s an amazing story I hope you all enjoy!
