If you've ever sat in a church pew wondering why your heart still felt heavy, this one's for you.
In this special episode, you're joining me on my morning walk, the rhythm of my steps matching the rhythm of my thoughts. This isn't a polished chat; it's an honest conversation about faith, fear, and finding your way home to yourself.
I grew up inside a high-control, fear-based religion - where obedience mattered more than curiosity, and questions felt like sin. For years, I tried to be the "good Christian girl," convinced that if I followed the rules perfectly, I'd finally feel worthy. But instead, I learned how to hide my doubt, silence my voice, and shrink my soul.
Eventually, I couldn't ignore the ache anymore. The God I was taught to fear didn't align with the love I'd come to know. And if this so-called "free will" came with eternal punishment, was it really free at all?
That's where my spiritual deconstruction began, not as rebellion, but as remembrance.
- What happens when belief is built on fear instead of freedom
- Why many of us unconsciously search for love and validation outside ourselves
- How healing begins when you remember you were never broken to begin with
- What "manifestation" really means when it's grounded in presence, not pressure
I share how the book Conversations with God cracked something open for me - reminding me that spirituality can be curious, embodied, and safe again. That maybe God, Source, or Spirit was never about hierarchy or shame, but connection.
And somewhere between all the questions and quiet mornings, I began to realize: I was born whole. I was never missing anything.
That truth changed everything.
Because when you stop chasing completeness in other people, in performance, or in religion - you start feeling the peace that's been waiting inside you all along.
This episode isn't about rejecting God. It's about rediscovering your own truth within God - within love, within presence, within you.
If you're navigating faith reconstruction, wrestling with spiritual abuse from evangelical Christianity or fundamentalist religion, or learning to trust yourself again after religious trauma, I hope you feel seen here. You're not alone. You're not crazy for questioning. You're not lost for leaving. You're actually finding your way home.
As we close, I invite you to take a deep breath. To remember that your healing doesn't need to be rushed. To trust that you're allowed to rebuild your spirituality in a way that feels safe, gentle, and real.
If you're craving a sacred space to keep doing that work - I want to invite you to something special.
