Or maybe you find that you're coverconsuing (food, media, the opinions of others) and that overconsumption is robbing you of joy, peace and compassion.
If you're living your life comparing yourself to others or trying to force yourself to behave and think the way dominant culture suggests you "should", you might be setting yourself up for disappointment, because regardless of what the coaching world suggests, usually a one size fits all approach doesn't work for us all.
In today's episode, I'm sharing how you can begin to unconsume yourself by looking at those things that consistently consume you and then consciously make choices about how to let those things go.
We'll take a look at how Human Design can help you better understand how you uniquely manifest in this world, we'll go over the my Embodied self love framework (self-awareness, self-knowledge, self-acceptance, self-trust, self-respect/boundaries), and I'll show you what it looks like to take a life inventory to see where you might be the most consumed by things that do not serve you.
If you enjoy today's episode and want to dive deeper into this conversation and into the work of unconsuming yourself, check out my Self-Love Immersion at untameyourself.com/selflove. The immersion is designed to help you do the deep work so that you can come out of it with real deal self love as your super power.

About the EMBODIED Podcast with Elizabeth DiAlto
Since 2013 I've been developing a body of work that helps women embody self love, healing and wholeness. We do this by focusing on the four levels of consciousness - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
In practical terms this looks like exploring tools and practices to help you tune into the deep wisdom of the body and the knowing of the heart, which I believe are gateways to our souls. Then we cultivate a new relationship with our minds that allows the mind to serve this wisdom and knowing and soul connection, rather than override it, which is what many of us were taught.
If you've been doing self help or spiritual development work for a while, these are the types of foundational things that often people overlook in pursuit of fancier concepts that often aren't practical or sustainable. Here, we will focus on building these strong foundations so you can honestly and thoroughly embody self love. If you're feeling it, subscribe to the show, and leave us a review wherever you listen from. You can also keep up with show updates and community discussion on Instagram here.
Have you bought into the lie that thinner is better?
I just had my first photoshoot since 2020. It was my first photoshoot since the pandemic and my first photoshoot at my heaviest weight. I was curious how I would feel during the photoshoot and I was also a little worried about how I might feel once I got the photos back (would I like the photos or would I feel uncomfortable with the parts of me that didn't look "good" in certain lighting or at "unflattering" angles?).
To my happy surprise, I felt confident and sexy during the shoot and when I looked at the photos afterward, I LOVED them. I felt like a proud mama recognizing all the hard work I had accomplished in self-love and embodiment work; seeing my true self shine through in the photos and loving her.
In today's episode, I'm sharing more about this photoshoot and all of the work I've done to truly love myself, my whole self, in the hopes that you will join me and feel empowered in your body at every shape and size.
If you have ever struggled with the lie that you had to be a certain dress size in order to be "sexy," if you've been hurt by people's unsolicited comments on your body, if you have been hurt by diet culture or fatphobia or maybe you just don't know how to love your body regardless of your size, sign up for my FREE training on how to Unconsume Yourself, so that you can recover your energy, time, power and peace.

Have you ever had an experience you couldn't quite explain? Maybe you were lying down in bed and you could feel the presence of someone else even though you were technically alone. Or maybe a loved one passed but every now and then, seemingly out of nowhere, you can smell their particular brand of cigar in your car.
It might sound crazy but these are all examples of experiences I've had and there are thousands of similar experiences reported by others; experiences that suggest that life continues even when our physical bodies do not.
What if, when someone dies, they don't really leave us? We might not be able to physically engage with them, but we can certainly still communicate with them and in Episode 388 of the Embodied Podcast, Lindsay Marino, Psychic Medium and Mentor, shares how our passed loved ones often try to communicate with us.
If you ever had an imaginary friend, felt a deep empathy for someone or knew something about them that you had no way of knowing, thought a passed loved one was trying to communicate with you or are questioning if your experiences are "normal," you might have the gift of Mediumship. The great news is that you aren't crazy and you aren't alone.

Do you love roses? Feel deeply connected to the Divine in nature? Or find symbolism in little things all the time?
Everything around you–from the birds you pass on your morning walk to the numbers on the clock when you wake up in the middle of the night–are symbols, tools for finding meaning in Life. You just have to learn how to look for them.
In today's episode, I'm chatting with author and mystic Rebecca Campbell about how she finds and connects with symbols in nature, especially flora, in her daily life.
For years, Rebecca has had a deeply personal relationship with roses. She admires them for their duality: a beautiful, soft bloom surrounded by hard thorns. In contemplating the rose, she's able to connect more deeply with her version of the divine.
And now, she's released an oracle deck to help others find symbolism and meaning in the natural world. She shows us that every bloom, every leaf, every thorn is a tool for seeing ourselves more clearly.
Join me in today's episode as I chat with Rebecca about her relationship with roses and how they've popped up throughout her spiritual journey. She's sharing her process for designing her oracle decks, and she's shedding light on how she maintains a strong marriage while also growing on her own.

Questions have been coming up recently related to these topics in my community and it got me thinking about how they all relate.
In today's episode, we're talking about fear, faith, resentment, and regret.
I'm covering where the fear stems from and how to consciously choose faith even when fear starts to creep in.
I talk about the indicators of resentment and regret and what they often mean about where you've spread yourself too thin..
Join me in today's episode as we discuss how to move past the objections of fear, regret and resentment so you can have breakthroughs and live within your highest, most fulfilling and abundant potential.

Are you aware of how birthing can change you?
We're not just talking about the birth of children but also the birth of projects, dreams and ideas.
In today's episode, I'm speaking with Christine Gutiérrez, a therapist, author of I Am Diosa, spiritual mentor, and mother.
As someone who has experienced firsthand an orgasmic birth, Christine uncovers the birthing process and how becoming a mother has shifted who she is internally and externally to the world around her.
We're both people who are outspoken in our beliefs, integrity and ethical code. We chat about how this impacts the choices we make and the opportunities we pursue.
Listen in as we talk about how her rhythms and cycles have shifted as she's stepped into motherhood and how she engages with work now. Whether you're a mother or not, there are a lot of gems in this discussion.

Are you ready to dance with life's mysteries?
For years, I've tried to make my work more palatable to the general public: less intimidating, less mysterious. But recently, I've come to realize that there's no watering down the medicine I'm here to steward. While things like accessing inner wisdom, self love and liberation sound empowering, exciting, and inviting, actually doing them can be really scary. It's such worthwhile and important work though and in the School of Sacred Embodiment, we're completely devoted to it.
In today's episode, I'm officially activating and opening the School of Sacred Embodiment.
This shift is as much a promise to myself as it is to my community: a promise to embrace my soul's path, devote my life to my relationship with the divine and be a permission slip and guide for anyone wanting to do the same on their own terms.
If you're a woman with eyes to see, ears to hear, and a soul open to receiving your own medicine and wisdom, I invite you to join us.
Join me in today's episode as I share why I'm making this shift with the School of Sacred Embodiment and what it means to students. I'm also talking about my own spiritual journey and what has led me to this moment.

The Mother archetype has nothing to do with bearing children. Instead, it’s a reflection of your hard-earned maturity and a deep connection with your most feminine self.
In today’s episode, I’m chatting with author and teacher Sarah Durham Wilson about the maiden to mother journey.
In her work, Sarah guides women through the stages of life–the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone–as they unlock new truths about themselves and connect more deeply with their femininity.
In a world full of Maidens, Sarah is shedding light on the power of Mothers. And in doing so, she’s helping us all unlearn the damage of our patriarchal society.
Join me in today’s episode as I chat with Sarah about her journey to uncovering her Mother archetype.. We’re sharing the struggles that come with unlearning our societal conditioning and why it’s okay to feel fed up sometimes. Plus, we’re breaking down the performative and partriarchally-driven activism we see online and explaining the damage it can cause.

Do you know the true source of your healing? It's not a pill or a vial. It's not even your coach or your mentor. No, your greatest source of healing comes from within, from your own medicine.
In today's episode, I'm chatting with indigenous medicine woman Asha Frost about her book You Are The Medicine.
As a medicine woman, Asha guides others through their healing journeys, helping them decolonize their thoughts and understand the signs they receive from the universe.
But a huge part of what she does is guide her clients to see their own power and facilitate their own healing.
Join me in today's episode as I chat with Asha about becoming your own medicine and connecting with your inner self. She's talking about the process of decolonization and how to broach the topic with others, especially children and older generations. Plus, she's sharing the value of connecting with your own ancestors and implementing their teachings in your spiritual journey.

Is accountability enough?
We see it often: Some big-name celebrity, author, or self help star jumps on the bandwagon of a newly relevant social cause, and suddenly they're being treated as a savior of the people. But when you really pay attention, their motivations become clear, and their actions are often performative at best, harmful at worst.
In today's episode, I'm chatting with anti-racism and decolonization educator and activist Louiza "Weeze" Doran about the importance of actionability in addition to accountability.
With the rise of "cancel culture," we've witnessed plenty of big names lose their platforms due to lack of accountability. But at the same time, others are celebrated for posting a black square, sharing a "peace and love" quote, or taking a lukewarm stand.
It's high time we hold the loudest voices in our society accountable for their actions, not just their words. Because as Weeze says in this episode, actionability is the true test of integrity.
Join me in today's episode as I chat with Weeze about the cultural shifts we're seeing right now. We're getting real about the biggest names in the self-help industry (ie Brene Brown) and why they thrive in our white-centric, capitalist society. Plus, we're talking about the ways you can open yourself up to others' viewpoints while still protecting your energy and truth.
