There are people who I consider mentors because of the career paths they've charted for themselves. Then there are folks who I consider mentors because of how they comport themselves. I want to be like them, not just when I'm .... (famous, successful, blonde or whatever the goal is here. I want to be a better person. I want to be that... (comfortable in my own skin, honest, funny, accessible, disciplined, and kind to the feeble) NOW! I knew Stephen Dubner was a pithy and prolific author. Once we spoke, I realized how much I admired, envied, liked, respected and enjoyed Stephen Dubner as a person. I'm guessing anyone with a pulse will have a similar reaction.
