In the beginning of November 2024, Devorah Buxbaum travelled to Israel with a group of women from our organization, The Lev Experience. The participants were a mix of women from all Jewish backgrounds. In this episode, we hear their stories of meeting heroes from October 7th, wives of soldiers, visiting the Nova site and the cities that were attacked, and dancing in the streets of Tel Aviv. We also hear their personal stories and how visiting Israel affected them personally and spiritually.

Rabbi Yossi Sirote, LCSW is a psychotherapist who has been counseling individuals, families, and groups for the past 26 years. Rabbi Yaakov Cohen is the author of the incredible book, "The Jewish Guide to Manifesting". Born and raised in California, he attended Cal State University, Northridge, where he studied philosophy and psychology. He learned Kabbalah under one of the great Kabbalists of Yerushalayim, his late father-in-law, Rabbi Shabtai Teicher.
Rabbi Cohen has taught seminars and lectures on Kabbalah, mysticism, and Chassidic thought in both America and Israel, and he currently resides with his family in Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel.
