Welcome to Let's Get Schooled, brought to you by The Grad Guide.
Emotional Intelligence is so underrated! So much emphasis is put on regulating students but where is the support for teachers?! crickets**** exactly! Nowhere to be seen. Many teachers are dysregulated and have no idea how to regulate themselves. How can we coregulate and provide a safe space for children if we can't handle our own emotions?
Em is so passionate about this topic because she's been there, so remember, you're not alone!
Em's first interview is with The QUEEN of Emotional Intelligence (although she did laugh when she was referred to as that, ha!) Alyssa Campbell, the founder and CEO of Seed and Sew. Alyssa is a teacher, parent, and an emotional development expert with a masters degree in early childhood education.
