I became a Sacred Money Archetypes coach because women have a complicated relationship with money. Based on my personal experience, I discovered when I could step back and see my behavior patterns objectively, I was free to make different choices.

The limiting beliefs and fear no longer made the decisions. I did, consciously and intentionally. And that changed everything.

A sense of peace, calm, and security embodies my money and wealth relationship. Since I no longer had to soothe the fear, I made healthier descions and the numbers grew. I no longer chased money, I attracted it.

If you have read or listened to my posts for awhile, you probably picked up on a central theme: there are two distinct economies operating in our world.

The Human Economy is the one you were trained in from an early age. Finish a chore and receive an allowance. Do extra work and get paid. Be encouraged to work when you’re a teenager so you can pay for your own clothes.

That last entree into the human economy didn’t work out for me, because I was hired at Casual Corner to work for the summer. As the new shipment of clothes arrived, I set aside those pieces I HAD TO HAVE. When my paycheck arrived, all of it went toward the stack of clothes. I looked great all summer, but I was still broke.

Think about your experiences with money, as you learned to work at a job, develop skills or education to earn more, etc. Can you trace the impact of cause and effect? That is one example of the Human Economy. Other characteristics include:

The Human Economy (HE) is based on:

* Competition for limited resources

* External validation and approval

* Linear, predictable growth

* Control and manipulation

Most of us were raised to operate exclusively in the Human Economy, which is why wealth creation often feels like pushing a boulder uphill.

For women, especially spiritual entrepreneurs, the Human Economy can feel difficult and mysterious. We understand the concepts of accounting, profit and loss, but there’s something missing. Our spirits do not feel fulfilled and everything becomes a struggle.

What is missing? I believe it’s the feminine or spiritual aspect of money and wealth creation. I call it the Divine Economy.

The Divine Economy is Always Available

The Divine Economy has a different focus and intention. Instead of outward actions producing results, you connect inside with the source of abundance, God, the Universe. As you acknowledge the source and express gratitude, you begin to see your money relationship from that perspective.

The Human Economy is ingrained in our psyches and it takes time to retrain your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. For now, consider what your life may look like as you begin to live from the Divine Economy.

The Divine Economy (DE) is based on:

* Infinite abundance for all

* Internal alignment and worthiness

* Cyclical, organic expansion

* Synchronicity and divine timing

* Trust and surrender

Remember, you always have a choice about which economy you're creating from.

Each morning, you can choose to align with Divine flow or human struggle. Each decision can arise from trust or fear. Each action can express abundance or scarcity.

This week, notice which economy you're operating from in your daily choices. When you catch yourself in Human Economy thinking, gently shift your awareness to the Divine Economy perspective. Breathe deeply and ask for signs that you are in the Divine Economy. They will appear as your awareness expands to include the spiritual, unseen energy that is all around you.

Dear Empowered Wayers:

Money is a slippery substance. One minute, it’s flowing freely and then something happens. The AC goes out during a heat wave. Or your biggest client decides to pull back, impacting your bottom line (and future plans). Life happens and you are you’re drowning in doubt, fear, or shame about how money moves through your fingers.

I’ve said this many times: women have a different relationship with money than men.

The hero’s journey for men is to see the mountain and know they have to scale it. They plan to the smallest detail, execute, solve problems that come up, and stand tall at the summit, proud of their success.

The woman’s journey is different. She looks inward and dives deep into the mysteries of herself. She sees the ways she has abandoned her essence, and she finds a way to heal.

Men conquer, compare, and compete. Women muse, feel, and learn to be.

The hero and heroine’s journey with money follows the same patterns.

A Sacred Spiral, Not a Straight Line

Unlike the hero’s linear path of conquering mountains, the heroine’s journey is deeply inward. It is not about overpowering, but about remembering. External victories and acclaim are not as fulfilling as becoming whole.

For women, the heroine’s journey with money begins with a fracture: the realization that something about your money story isn’t working. You may feel disconnected from your worth, uncertain about your financial decisions, or resentful of how hard you’ve had to work for so little return.

And then… comes the nudge: “There must be another way.”

This nudge is your siren’s song that leads you into the sacred unknown. A place you once knew as a young girl where abundance flowed and all was well. As you grew into an adult with obligations, this sacred place was replaced by ego-based patterns, like scarcity, over-giving, avoidance, guilt.

That is where you are standing now, reading these words and listening to your inner voice saying, “There must be a better way.”

It is in this inner place that you may meet a guide—a Money Tree, if you will.She doesn’t give you quick fixes. She does something so much better. She helps you remember who you are.

Divinely worthy, creatively powerful, and connected to a higher power.

The chaos we see in the world right now is upsetting, worrying, and revolting. It’s hard to stay on your path when everything around you feels unsettled.

I get it. I understand. And I know you are upset, hurting, and may feel you have no where to turn.

You always have a space where you can unload your burdens and rest. Right now, take a deep breath and hold it for four seconds. Exhale slowly, as if through a straw. Wait four seconds before taking another deep breath in, filling your lungs to capacity. Slowly exhale. Repeat this pattern until you feel your body calm.

In every moment of your life, you have the choice to return to your breath. As your nervous system calms, the thinking part of your brain comes back online. You are no longer driven by fear and love can enter your awareness.

Why Do I Forget Who I am?

I have forgotten myself for years, especially when I practiced law. The work was so important to me that I forgot my peace. Everything was about winning - the deposition, the hearing, and of course, the trail. In pursuing being the best, I lost touch with me.

It wasn’t until I had a health crisis that I finally gave up the struggle of trying to figure it out. I gave up being right and I surrendered to God, Divine Love.

Now, looking back, I can see that my ego was in control as I moved in the world. My values were outside (the next car, the next house, etc.) and not my relationship with Divine Love.

I created a knot of struggle I kept pulling, hoping it would release. And I learned a truth I had forgotten:

The energy I spent creating the knot will never untie it.

The knot can only release when I am in a different energy.

What Does This Have to Do With You?

I left my law practice to become a Wealth Coach for women. Women have a different relationship with money than men. And I am here to help you see that the feminine approach to money, wealth, and abundance is your natural process.

You have been told to treat money as a goal, measured by data, and valued as your value. That is masculine in energy and it’s useful, but for women, there is a process that needs to happen before the doing.

Women create from the inside first. We have a mysterious and secret world inside that is directly connected to Divine Love. Our bodies know this inner world intimately, whether creating a baby from one fertilized cell, or sending you an intuitive nudge.

In 2022, I wrote a book called, “The Money Tree: Transform Scarcity Thinking to Empowered Wealth Consciousness.” It’s a parable about a sweet spirit named Flo who became the money tree. Signs you are abundance-blind

Signs that your subconscious is answering "No" to receiving abundance with east include:

There is good news

The good news? Worthiness isn't something you need to earn—it's something you need to remember.

As a divine being having a human experience, you are inherently worthy of abundance. Your worthiness was established at the moment of your creation and cannot be diminished by anything you've done or haven't done.

This week, I invite you to practice this simple but powerful affirmation:

"I am worthy of receiving great abundance with ease, simply because I exist."

Allow these words to penetrate beyond your conscious mind and into the depths of your being. Notice any resistance that arises, and meet it with compassion rather than judgment.

As you expand your wealth consciousness, you begin to see opportunities and possibilities that were always there. When you are abundance-blind, you can’t see them because of your limiting beliefs.

As you repeat the affirmation throughout the day, notice any new ways to receive abundance. It may be the sparkle of a dew drop on a leaf in the early morning. Or a smile given freely by a neighbor. When your beloved pet snuggles next to you.

You are always surrounded by the Universe showering you with abundance. Make it a game to find as many moments as you can. It will open you in ways you can’t even imagine.

The power of awareness transforms blindness into seeing.

From Money Struggles to Inner Sovereignty

I am a Women’s Wealth Coach and writer of spiritual fiction.

I often witness how disconnected we become from our true selves—especially in our relationship with money. That’s why I wrote a short novella based on the 8 Sacred Money Archetypes.

Years ago, I had a client—let’s call her Leah—who came to me in tears. She had created a lucrative coaching practice but felt unhappy and unfulfilled. “Everyone kept telling me to charge more, scale faster, hire a team,” she said. “But none of it felt right in my body.”

I asked her one question: “What do you know to be true?”

Leah paused, hand on heart. “I know my work changes lives. And I know I want to go deeper, not bigger.”

There it was—her Intuitive Truth. Clear. Whole. Already within her.

This is the first sacred feminine strength:

The ability to trust your inner knowing above outer noise.

It doesn’t come from logic or metrics (though those have their place). It comes from the wisdom in your belly, the tingles on your skin, the sense of peace that rises when you're in integrity with your soul.

The Second Feminine Strength is Receiving

Remember, you don’t have to earn love.

Another woman I worked with, Sofia, always undercharged. Always over gave. She was beloved by her clients, but constantly exhausted. “If I raise my prices, they’ll think I’m greedy,” she whispered.

But during a meditation we did together, she had a vision of herself standing in a garden. Flowers bloomed around her, and she heard a voice: You are the garden. Let them come to you.

Tears streamed down her face. “I don’t have to chase,” she said. “I can just… receive.”

Receiving is not passive. It’s magnetic.

It’s rooted in the feminine truth that you are already worthy. You don’t have to prove, hustle, or sacrifice to be compensated for your gifts.

Empowered Wealth Consciousness requires you to remember:

You can serve with open hands, not clenched fists.

Receiving is how you refill your cup. Receiving is how you honor the sacred exchange. Receiving is how you lead with love without burning out.

The Third Feminine Strength is Compassion in Sovereignty

My favorite story of all might be my own.

I used to think power was being aggressive to win. As a litigator, I faced many brilliant lawyers who would have loved to take my clients to the cleaners (and the bank). I was the only one standing between them and possible financial ruin. Being a lawyer was fulfilling and lucrative, but it never felt quite right. I was often drained, defensive, and disconnected from myself.

It wasn’t until I hit a personal tragedy that I realized something had to change. That’s when I began practicing meditation. From the quiet of my morning time with God, I began practicing sovereign compassion—compassion with boundaries, grace with structure—that I reconnected with myself.

Sovereignty isn’t about being in charge or in control. It’s about being clear.

I watched my relationships shift. I left my legal practice because it no longer served my highest goals. I began writing and published five different books. I started my coaching business to reflect who I really am—not who I thought I had to be. I traveled the world (the photo at the top of this article is me in Bali). And the money? It flowed with more ease because I was no longer abandoning myself to get it.

This sacred feminine strength says:

I can lead with love and still say no.

I can give with generosity and protect my energy.

This is how we build sustainable businesses. This is how we become the women our younger selves needed.

This is how we rise.

You Already Have These Strengths Within You

You may not feel like you’re living them yet. That’s okay. They aren’t goals to chase—they’re truths to return to.

Every time you:

Briefly, My Story

I grew up surrounded by boys and masculine energy. I learned early that to be noticed in my family, I had to be assertive, clever, and competitive. It never felt natural or easy.

Fast forward to law school and a law career for more than two decades. By this point, I was too numb to know I lost contact with my essential self. It wasn’t until we couldn’t have a baby that I hit a wall. I took a hard, honest look at myself and knew drastic changes were necessary.

Through a lot of self-discovery (and thankfully, adoption), I discovered what I had ignored. I am a creative being experiencing my inner reality.

I became certified as a Sacred Money Archetype® Coach and fell in love with my work. Over the years, I have guided many women on their journey to discover inner abundance and dissolve the fear-based beliefs holding them back.

Through this sacred work, I realized that women have a different relationship with money than men. In the West, we live in a masculine oriented economy that prizes linear goals, data-driven results, and competition. Women can adapt and succeed, but it never feels natural (just like me growing up).

That realization led me to create Empowered Way as a portal for women to connect with these feminine strengths - intuition, receiving as a sacred act, and sovereign compassion.

Women don’t have to choose between spiritual integrity and fiancial success.

The end result of Empowered Way is Empowered Wealth Consciousness.
