  • The Hidden Truth About Why Women Create Wealth Differently

    Hello Empowered Wayers!

When I hired my first financial advisor, he quickly learned that I didn’t know squat about investing. His tone turned from cordial to condensing when I began asking questions he found beneath him. The patronizing treatment I received woke me up to the fact I needed to learn more about wealth building.

Fast forward to today - my coaching business is thriving and I love helping women discover the hidden truth about true wealth.

Instead of being told to follow the same financial strategies as men: set goals, make plans, and execute, I take a much different approach. Because of my own experiences (that first financial advisor was quickly replaced) and my training as a Women’s Wealth Coach, I know this to be true:

Women create wealth differently than men. When women are forced into masculine models of wealth building, we disconnect from our natural power.

Men typically conceive of an idea and then execute—they think, plan, and do. It’s a linear process that moves from mind to action.

Women, however, create from their interior world first. We connect with our inner knowing, align with our values and purpose, then take inspired steps to bring our vision to reality. It’s an entirely different creative process, yet most financial advice completely ignores this fundamental difference.

The Feminine Path to Wealth Creation

When women try to build wealth using masculine strategies alone, something feels off. We might achieve financial success, but it often comes at the cost of our well-being, relationships, or sense of purpose. We end up feeling like we’re playing someone else’s game by someone else’s rules.

The feminine approach to wealth creation begins in the interior landscape—with feelings, intuition, values, and vision. Women naturally want to understand why they’re building wealth, how it aligns with their purpose, and what it will create for their families and communities. We don’t just want money; we want meaningful abundance that enhances ourselves and those around us.

This isn’t about being anti-goal or anti-planning. It’s about honoring the feminine process of creation that begins with inner alignment before moving to outer action.

The Cultural Programming That Holds Women Back

From childhood, most women receive conflicting messages about money. We’re told to be nurturing and generous while also being financially responsible. We’re encouraged to be successful but not too aggressive. We learn that “good women” don’t focus too much on money, yet we’re expected to be financially independent.

These mixed messages create internal conflict around wealth. We may sabotage our success unconsciously because part of us believes that being “too wealthy” makes us less feminine, less likable, or less spiritual. Or we may pursue money in ways that feel masculine and disconnected from our authentic selves.

The result? Many intelligent, capable women find themselves stuck in cycles of financial limitation, not because they lack ability, but because they’re fighting against their natural creative process.

    Reclaiming Your Feminine Wealth Power

What if you could build wealth in a way that felt natural, aligned, and deeply fulfilling? What if your relationship with money could be an expression of your feminine wisdom rather than a betrayal of it?

Empowered Wealth Consciousness honors the feminine path to abundance. It recognizes that women:

    * Create from the inside out: Your need to feel aligned internally is honored before taking external action.

    * Value connection and meaning: Money is a tool for creating impact, not just accumulation.

    * Trust intuitive guidance: Your inner knowing is as valuable as market analysis.

    * Seek holistic wealth: You seek abundance in relationships, health, and purpose, not just bank accounts.

    * Flow with natural rhythms: You honor cycles of expansion and reflection. rather than forcing constant growth

The Three Pillars of Feminine Wealth Creation

Pillar 1: Inner Alignment First Before setting financial goals, connect with your deeper why. What does wealth mean to you? How do you want to feel in your relationship with money? What impact do you want to create? This inner clarity becomes the foundation for all your external actions.

Pillar 2: Values-Based Decisions Every financial choice becomes an opportunity to honor your values. Whether it’s how you earn, spend, save, or invest, you make decisions that align with who you are and what matters most to you.

Pillar 3: Intuitive Action You learn to trust your inner guidance about timing, opportunities, and strategies. This doesn’t mean abandoning logic—it means integrating your intuitive wisdom with practical planning.

    Your Natural State of Abundance

Here’s the truth that changes everything: abundance is your natural state as a woman. You were born to create, nurture, and bring forth life in all its forms. When you align with your feminine essence, wealth flows naturally because you’re working with your energy, not against it.

This isn’t about choosing between feminine and masculine approaches—it’s about leading with your feminine wisdom while integrating masculine structure and action when appropriate.

    The Invitation to Transform

Imagine building wealth in a way that feels like coming home to yourself. Picture having abundant resources to create the impact you’re meant to make while maintaining deep fulfillment in all areas of your life.

This transformation requires unlearning the masculine models that don’t serve you and reconnecting with your feminine power around money. It means healing the cultural conditioning that separated you from your natural abundance and stepping into a new paradigm of wealth creation.

  • The Mindfulness Secret

    Hello Empowered Wayers:

I wrote the following article on October 18, 2018. When I reread it seven years later, in 2025, I noticed that the advice still applies. The strong emotions fueling so much of the chaos in the world is even more amplified and magnified now than seven years ago.

You can be the one to change it. It all starts with you.

When you choose to become present and step away from being right, your timeline shifts. Your thoughts, words, and actions are no longer fueled by anger or hatred. Instead, your presence is connected to Source and you see the world through new eyes.

Please read the article and let me know if you agree. Then use the techniques described to become centered, calm, and present.

Together, we can change the trajectory of our world when we are the one to change.

The article from 2018 still applies today

There is so much pain being expressed in the world. All of the angry words, shouting and demonstrating against something or someone seems to have reached a crescendo.

What is going on? Why have we lost our minds and fallen into terrorist behavior that threatens, bullies and confronts? Look behind any of the #movements and you will discover strong emotions fueling the rocket of change.

A valid question to ask : is the rocket going anywhere? Or is it just an explosion in the cultural mindset that connects people with the same strong emotions?

It feels as if we are more separated, alone in our silos of conviction that we are right and everyone else is wrong.

The logical conclusion to this approach is continued divisiveness, separation and “otherness.” Everyone is a victim of something…and nothing is accomplished. Any changes only come after much angst and energy has been spent, creating a victory but extending the war against “the others.”

[Update for 2025: the war has ignited violence, mass murders, and political assassinations. Don’t you feel that we have reached the brink of insanity?]

    There is another way.

    The Mindfulness Secret

When you feel yourself being triggered by something you read or heard, take a moment to check into your body. Notice if you are experiencing any of these physical reactions:

    * elevated heartbeat;

    * short, faster breaths; or

    * heat spreading through your body;

Your body is communicating to you that it senses a threat. It could be mental or emotional, but your body has gone into the flight or fight response. Adrenaline is pouring through your veins, making you feel powerful and indestructible.

There is another effect of this survival reaction. Your ability to access the logical and reasoned part of your brain is momentarily disconnected. The oldest part of your brain takes over, the “lizard” brain. Choices made from the lizard brain do not create loving actions or acceptance of others. Instead, the only choices are to fight or flee.

In today’s world, the anger, chaos, violence, and destruction of meaningful conversations are fueled by the lizard brain.

Mindfulness enters the scene when you recognize that your flight or fight response has been triggered. Instead of giving your lizard brain the controls to the rocket, take a moment to understand what your body is telling you.

How? Step away from the trigger.

If you read something online that made your blood boil, look away and breathe deeply. If it is a person who caused your angst, pretend you just received a text message, look at your phone, and breathe deeply. The point is to momentarily distract yourself to allow time and space for your body’s response to recede.

Next, allow these emotions and your physical reaction to lessen BEFORE you share your thoughts, comments or reaction. Sharing words and actions from the lizard brain only adds fuel to the fire.

Finally, notice the difference it makes when you chose a mindful response. Instead of confrontation, can you see the issue from a new perspective? How did you feel after you shared or hit send? Better or worse?

After being mindful for a few times, notice the consequences to other people. Did your choice to respond and not react have an impact on them? Is there a softening in your relationships that allows for more acceptance of a different viewpoint or opinion? Were you able to find common ground that you could both agree to?

    Conclusion

The end result of reaction (from the lizard brain) versus response (from your logical, reasoned mind) are predictable.

Lizard Reaction: You are stupid and wrong if you don’t agree with me. Result: Separation, unbending conviction, and damaged relationships.

Mindful Response: I see your point and I agree with parts of it. Result: Connection, creative solutions, peaceful conversations.

The question to ask yourself is this: “Do I want to be right or at peace?”

Living from your lizard brain is exhausting, debilitating and frustrating. It doesn’t build anyone up — instead, it tears down anyone who disagrees with you. Your lizard brain only wants to be right, and it will go to extremes to prove its rightness.

The cost is your sense of peace, your security in the world and your well-being.

Cultivate your mindful response muscle and you will be more thoughtful in your interactions. Open minded discussions can be shared, and you will learn something from the other person’s point of view.

    Many blessings,

    Kathryn

  • When Truth Becomes Dangerous

    Dearest Empowered Wayers:

    Yesterday, a voice was silenced.

Not by argument. Not by debate. By a bullet.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated while speaking his truth on a college campus in Utah. And with that shot, something rippled through the collective soul of anyone who dares to speak what others might not want to hear.

Regardless of your politics or opinion, that kind of intentional violence lands in the collective nervous system. It pulls on the invisible threads that connect us. It whispers, “You’re not safe. Be quiet. Stay small.”

And so I sat with the fear.

I breathed into it and I asked it what it needed. And beneath it, I heard a quieter voice say:

“You don’t fight fear with more fear. You dissolve it with Love.”

Here's what I know about fear:

    * When you listen to it, it is never satisfied.

    * When you resist it, it grows stronger.

    * When you feel it and allow it to move through you— Love leads the way.

Fear restricts and contracts. Love expands and grows.

    Love doesn’t bargain with safety.

There are moments when speaking your truth feels dangerous. There are days when simply standing in your presence feels like a risk. But Love doesn’t bargain with safety.

Love remembers who you are, even when you forget.

Love steadies the breath, softens the heart, and calls the soul forward—not to fight, but to embody truth.

Not to win… but to witness.

I am about to step into the arena.

I have written a book about what Love would say to a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. It’s a fictional story that highlights the consequences of choosing fear or allowing Love to speak. I didn’t write the book to persuade or take a position. I wrote it to show that we have forgotten Love is a part of the conversation.

And yes, I'm concerned about adding my voice to the conversation.

But fear has become my teacher, not my master.

When Charlie's voice was silenced yesterday, something in me became more determined to let mine ring clear with the voice of Love.

You have a decision to make.

We are being asked to decide between fear or love.

Will you let fear dictate your voice,or will you allow Love speak through you?

There are many different meanings and interpretations about what love means. I am not talking about love that is sentimental, passive, or avoids conflict to stay comfortable.

I’m talking about Divine Love—the fierce, ancient, radiant kind that is always available, to every person on the planet.

You can experience Divine Love whenever you still your mind, quiet your emotions, and calm your nervous system. For me, meditation is the path I follow to be with Divine Love.

As you sit with the energy of Divine Love, it becomes presence. And you begin to see the world through eyes grounded in love, not fear.

The world is loud right now. It feels chaotic and uncontrollable. There’s nothing we can do about the state of the world, because the only condition we can control is ourselves and our perceptions.

What everyone aches for is your Love-led voice.

    Here’s what I’m practicing today:

    * I’m pausing before I speak, and asking: “Is this Love, or is this fear?”

    * I’m blessing my throat, my spine, and my heart before I post anything.

    * I’m remembering that sovereignty doesn’t mean standing alone—it means standing in alignment.

    * I’m letting Love be my filter, compass, and voice.

Because Love is not the absence of fear. It’s the decision to show up anyway, anchored in something deeper.

    To your presence,

    Kathryn

  • The Real Reason You're Sabotaging Your Success (And It's Not What You Think)

    Hello Empowered Wayers!

Picture this: We're sitting in our favorite corner booth at that cozy café downtown, steam rising from our lattes, and you've just told me about your latest business frustration...

"I know I should be charging more," you say, stirring your drink a little too vigorously. "Everyone tells me my prices are too low. But every time I try to raise them, I feel like I'm being greedy. Like I'm taking advantage of people."

    Sound familiar?

Here's what I've learned after working with hundreds of women entrepreneurs: Your money problems aren't really about money. They're about the stories running in the background of your mind – stories so automatic you don't even realize they're there.

Why Your Brain Loves a Good Story (Even When It's Sabotaging You)

Lisa Cron, the brilliant author of "Story Genius," explains something fascinating about how our brains work. We don't experience life as a series of random events. Instead, our minds are constantly weaving everything into a narrative – asking "What does this mean?" and "What should I do about it?"

The problem? The stories we tell ourselves about money were often written when we were seven years old, overhearing our parents argue about bills. Or when we were twelve and learned that "good girls don't ask for too much." Or when we were twenty-two and watched a friend's business fail.

These aren't just memories floating around harmlessly. They're active programs running your financial decisions right now, today, in ways you might not even recognize.

Meet Your Money Story's Main Character

This is where the Sacred Money Archetypes come in – and before you roll your eyes and say "Oh great, another personality test," hear me out.

Think of archetypes not as boxes to squeeze yourself into, but as the main characters in the money stories you've been unconsciously living. Each archetype has its own internal narrative, its own fears, its own version of what "success" and "safety" look like.

Let me tell you about Sarah, a brilliant marketing consultant who came to me frustrated that she was always broke despite having plenty of clients. When we dug into her money story, we discovered she was operating from what I call the "Nurturer" archetype.

Sarah's unconscious story went like this: "If I charge what I'm really worth, I'll price out the small businesses who really need my help. Good people don't put profit before helping others. If I focus too much on money, I'll become one of those cold, greedy business owners I can't stand."

See how that story was running her business? She was literally the protagonist in a tale where making money meant betraying her values. No wonder she kept sabotaging her own success.

The Plot Twist That Changes Everything

Here's where Lisa Cron's insights about storytelling become powerful: Every compelling story needs a moment when the protagonist realizes their old way of thinking isn't working anymore. That's exactly what happens when you identify your dominant money archetype.

For Sarah, the breakthrough came when she realized her Nurturer story had a fatal flaw. By undercharging, she wasn't actually helping more people – she was burning herself out and delivering lower-quality work because she was constantly stressed about money. Her attempt to be "good" was actually making her less effective at the thing she cared most about: helping her clients succeed.

The real plot twist? When Sarah finally raised her rates and started operating from sovereignty instead of fear, she didn't become cold and greedy. She became more generous. She had the energy and resources to do her best work, and she started a scholarship program for women entrepreneurs who couldn't afford her services.

    Your Story, Your Choice

The beautiful thing about understanding your money archetype isn't that it explains everything about you – it's that it reveals the story you've been unconsciously following so you can consciously choose a better one.

Maybe you're a "Maverick" who's been telling herself that structure and systems are boring, so you wing it financially and wonder why you're always stressed. Or an "Alchemist" who believes that if you just work hard enough, money will somehow take care of itself. Or an "Accumulator" whose story is that there's never enough, so you hoard resources instead of investing in growth.

Each archetype comes with its own gifts and its own shadows. Every money personality is driven by a story of what is true. When you can see the story and accept the shadows, you regain your power.

This beautiful idea is illustrated by the lunar eclipse half the world will see. The moon doesn’t resist the shadow of the earth, it allows it to pass by. And in the acceptance and release, the moon is still radiant and serene.

The magic happens when you become aware of the story you've been living and start writing a new one – one where you can honor your values AND build a thriving business.

    The Next Chapter Starts Now

I know this might sound too simple. "Just change your story and change your money situation?" But here's what I've learned: Our financial behaviors aren't random. They're remarkably consistent because they're following a script we learned long ago.

When you understand that script – when you can see your money archetype's story clearly – you gain the power to edit it. To keep the parts that serve you and rewrite the parts that don't.

That's not woo-woo thinking. That's neuroscience. That's how change actually happens in real life.

So tell me – what story do you think your money decisions have been following? What if you became the conscious author of that story instead of just its unconscious actor?

Your answer to that question changes the plot, your purpose, and your life’s trajectory. Ask yourself that question and allow the answers to bubble up. Write them down and allow the ideas to flow out onto the page.

Please share your aha moments so we can learn together.

    To your prosperity,

    Kathryn

  • The Hidden Reason Women Entrepreneurs Feel Spiritually Rich And Financially Poor

    Hello Empowered Wayers:

I have sat at my computer, staring at another invoice I can't quite bring myself to send.

The work was transformative. My client had a breakthrough that brought tears to both our eyes. The value I provided was immeasurable—literally. And that's exactly the problem.

How do you put a price on a soul's awakening? How do you charge for channeling divine wisdom? How do you ask for money when what you're really offering is love?

If you're a woman spiritual entrepreneur, you know this internal battle intimately. You're spiritually rich—overflowing with gifts, wisdom, and the deep knowing that you're here to serve. Yet financially, you're stuck in patterns that keep you struggling, undercharging, and secretly wondering if there's something fundamentally wrong with wanting both spiritual fulfillment and material abundance.

There isn't. But there is something you need to understand.

The Split That's Breaking Your Spirit

Women have been handed a false choice: Be spiritual OR be wealthy. Serve others OR prosper yourself. Follow your calling OR pay your bills.

This isn't just limiting—it's destroying the very women the world needs most.

You became a spiritual entrepreneur because you felt the call to serve at a higher level. Your gifts aren't just skills—they're expressions of your soul's purpose. You know you have something sacred to offer, something the world desperately needs.

But somewhere along the way, you absorbed a toxic belief: that monetizing your spiritual gifts somehow diminishes them. That charging what you're worth makes you "less spiritual." That true service requires sacrifice.

This belief is not only false—it's preventing your gifts from reaching their full expression in the world.

The Feminine Wealth Crisis No One's Talking About

The statistics tell part of the story. Women-owned businesses receive only 2% of venture capital. Female entrepreneurs report higher burnout rates. We earn less across virtually every industry.

But the real crisis runs deeper than numbers can capture.

Women are trying to succeed in an economy designed

    by and for masculine energy.

The traditional economy operates on principles of force, competition, and linear thinking. It rewards external validation, measurable outputs, and logical progression. It values what you DO over who you ARE.

But you—intuitive, cyclical, deeply feeling—were designed for something far more elegant.

    Your natural superpowers include:

    * Awareness and intuition that can sense opportunities before logic catches up

    * Abundance from within that creates wealth through embodying worthiness rather than chasing external validation

    * Collaboration and flow that builds heart-centered networks multiplying abundance for everyone

These aren't nice-to-haves. They're exactly what the new economy demands. Yet you've been conditioned to see them as weaknesses.

The Two Economies: Which One Are You Operating In?

Most spiritual women are unknowingly trapped in what I call the "Human Economy"—a system built on scarcity, fear, and separation. In this economy:

    * Wealth must be earned through struggle

    * There's not enough to go around

    * You must prove your worth through achievement

    * Success requires sacrificing your authentic nature

But there's another option: the Divine Economy.

    In the Divine Economy:

    * Wealth flows from alignment, not effort

    * Abundance is your natural state

    * Your consciousness becomes your currency

    * Success means expressing your highest self

The difference isn't just philosophical—it's practical. When you operate from the Divine Economy, money stops being something you chase and becomes something you magnetize through your presence.

What Happens When You Reclaim Your Inner Wealth

I've watched hundreds of women make this shift, and the transformation follows a predictable pattern:

Sarah was a talented coach who felt spiritually bankrupt despite her success. During a quiet moment of reflection, she realized her soul longed for beauty and meaning, not just results. When she began creating from that authentic place—sharing her truth rather than performing for clients—her business transformed. Orders flowed without pushing because she became the wealth she was seeking.

Elena had just ended a relationship and was struggling financially. Instead of falling into victim consciousness, she wrote in her journal: "Thank you for this pain." She didn't mean it at first, but she stayed with the practice. Eventually, she saw how her challenges were revealing what she'd outgrown—how she'd been making herself small in both love and money. Within weeks, her finances improved and a sovereignty she'd never known emerged.

Maya was constantly giving, constantly depleted. She learned that receiving isn't selfish—it's sacred. When she began gracefully accepting support, compliments, and fair compensation, everything shifted. Her health improved, her business grew, and she discovered that allowing herself to be supported actually allowed her to serve at a deeper level.

These women didn't learn new strategies. They remembered ancient wisdom:

You are not separate from wealth. You ARE the wealth.

The Sacred Money Archetypes: Your Blueprint for Abundance

Here's what most business coaches won't tell you: You have a unique energetic blueprint for creating wealth. I call these your Sacred Money Archetypes—eight distinct ways of relating to abundance that live within every woman.

    You might be:

    * The Ruler: Creating stability through systems and boundaries

    * The Alchemist: Transforming energy into manifestation

    * The Connector: Building wealth through authentic relationships

    * The Romantic: Bringing beauty and meaning into everything

    * The Nurturer: Learning to receive while you give

    * The Celebrity: Stepping into visibility and influence

    * The Accumulator: Building security through mindful gathering

    * The Maverick: Creating through innovation and freedom

When you understand your unique money blueprint, you stop fighting against your nature and start channeling your gifts in their highest expression. You discover why certain money patterns keep repeating and how to transform them into strengths.

The Three Steps to Inner Wealth

Reconnecting with your inner wealth isn't about positive thinking or spiritual bypassing. It's about embodying a fundamental truth that changes everything:

Step 1: Recognize that everything is energy. Money, wealth, and abundance are all energy. Fear-based energy creates scarcity; love-based energy expands wealth. Your thoughts and beliefs literally mold your financial reality.

Step 2: Identify your Sacred Money Archetypes. Understanding your unique blueprint shows you exactly how to create wealth in alignment with your authentic nature rather than fighting against it.

Step 3: Step into the Divine Economy. This means making decisions from love rather than fear, trusting your intuition over external metrics, and allowing your consciousness to become your currency.

    Why Inner Wealth Changes Everything

When you reclaim your inner wealth, the transformation extends far beyond your bank account:

Your relationships deepen because you're no longer performing—you're being authentic.

Your health improves because you're working with your natural rhythms instead of against them.

Your creativity explodes because you're following inspiration rather than forcing outcomes.

Your impact expands because people can feel when you're creating from love rather than desperation.

Most importantly, you remember who you are beneath all the doing, achieving, and proving.

    Your Gifts Are Waiting

The world doesn't need another exhausted woman pretending she doesn't need money. It needs you—rested, resourced, and creating from the overflow of your joy.

Your spiritual gifts deserve to thrive in material abundance. Not because abundance validates your worth, but because it creates the sustainable foundation from which your gifts can reach their fullest expression.

The Divine Economy has been calling your name. Your feminine wisdom has been waiting lifetimes for this moment.

    It's time to answer.

    To your prosperity,

    Kathryn

  • The $1,000 Moment that Changed Everything

    Hello Empowered Wayers!

Picture this: You're sitting across from a potential client, and she's asking about your programs. Your pricing. What it looks like to work with you.

And you can feel yourself starting to shrink.

Your voice gets smaller. You start using phrases like "I'm still building my practice" and "I'm working on developing..."

You can see it in her eyes. That shift. That moment when someone goes from interested to... polite. When they start looking for the exit from the conversation.

If this sounds familiar, you're not alone. This was my reality for months.

The Pattern That Kept Me Small

I'd meet amazing women who genuinely needed what I offered, who were asking all the right questions, and then I'd somehow convince them NOT to work with me.

Not through my words, but through my energy. My lack of confidence. My inability to own what I was offering.

I'd go to networking events, have incredible conversations about their challenges and dreams. They'd light up when I described what I did. They'd say things like "That sounds exactly like what I need."

And then they'd ask about working together.

And I'd fumble. Every single time.

I'd hedge my bets: "Well, I'm still developing the program, but..." I'd undervalue myself: "It's just a small investment..." I'd give them outs: "But you might want to think about it..."

I was so afraid of being seen as pushy, or expensive, or not experienced enough, that I was literally talking people out of getting the help they needed.

The worst part? I KNEW I could help them. I had the knowledge, the tools, the experience. But I was so focused on my own insecurities that I forgot the whole point wasn't about me—it was about them.

After another "almost client" decided to "think about it," my husband asked me something that stopped me cold: "If you were in her position, struggling with what she's struggling with, would you hire someone who sounded unsure about whether they could actually help you?"

The answer was obvious. Of course not.

    I wouldn't hire me either.

The Shift I Didn't See Coming

The breakthrough happened at a network luncheon about a month later.

I was sitting next to this woman, and we started chatting about business, about the challenges of being an entrepreneur, about that constant juggle between growth and overwhelm.

She mentioned something that I knew I could help with. Something I'd helped other women navigate. But instead of launching into my usual uncertain pitch, I just... listened.

I asked questions. I got curious about her specific situation. I shared a couple insights that seemed to resonate.

After the event ended, she asked if we could sit and talk more.

We found a quiet corner, and I continued doing what felt natural—asking questions, understanding her world, occasionally sharing something that might be helpful.

Then she said, "This sounds like exactly what I need. What would it look like to work with you?"

Here's where the old me would have started hedging, explaining, making excuses.

But something was different this time. Maybe because I'd been so focused on HER instead of my own fears. Maybe because the conversation felt so natural, so connected.

When she asked about the price, I looked her in the eye and said, "It's $1,000."

Just like that. No apologies. No explanations. No "but if that's too much..."

    Just the truth.

She paused for maybe two seconds—which felt like an eternity—and then said, "When can we start?"

    What Actually Changed

    I almost couldn't believe it.

This woman, who I'd met two hours earlier, had just said yes to working with me without hesitation. Without asking for a discount. Without needing to "think about it."

But as I drove home that day, I realized what had actually happened.

For the first time, I had shown up as someone who believed in what she was offering.

Not because I suddenly felt more confident—honestly, I was terrified when I said that number. But because I had been so focused on serving her, on understanding what she needed, that I forgot to be afraid.

The difference wasn't in my credentials or my experience or my perfectly crafted pitch.

The difference was in my energy. My focus. My intention.

When I was worried about how I looked, how I sounded, whether I was qualified enough, I repelled clients.

When I focused on genuinely helping and serving, everything shifted.

The Three Visibility Blocks That Keep Us Hidden

Looking back, I can see exactly how I was sabotaging myself. And I see these same patterns in every woman I work with:

    1. We Make It About Us Instead of Them

I was so consumed with my own fears—What if they think I'm not qualified? What if I sound desperate?—that I forgot the person sitting across from me had real struggles and needed real help.

The shift: Stop asking "Am I good enough?" and start asking "How can I serve?" When your focus moves from your insecurities to their transformation, your entire energy changes.

    2. We Apologize for Having Value

Every time I said "It's just a small investment" or "I'm still developing this," I was teaching people not to value what I offered. I was literally apologizing for having something worth paying for.

The shift: Own what you bring to the table. Your experience, your insights, your ability to help—these have value. Stop shrinking to make other people comfortable with your worth.

    3. We Think Confidence Comes Before Action

I kept waiting to "feel ready" before I could show up confidently. But confidence doesn't work that way. It comes from doing the thing, not from feeling prepared to do the thing.

The shift: Confidence is just certainty about your ability to serve. You don't need bulletproof confidence—you need unshakeable commitment to their success.

The Ripple Effect of Showing Up

That $1,000 moment didn't just get me my first confident client. It taught me that visibility isn't about feeling brave—it's about being of service.

From that day forward, I started approaching every conversation differently. Instead of preparing pitches, I prepared questions. Instead of thinking about what I wanted to say, I focused on what they needed to hear.

My business grew, yes. But more than that—I started feeling aligned with my work again. The women who found me weren't looking for a perfect guru. They were looking for someone who genuinely cared about their success.

When you show up focused on service instead of self-protection, you attract clients who become collaborators. Transactions become transformations. Sales conversations become sacred exchanges.

    Your Invitation to Stop Hiding

Right now, there's someone out there who needs exactly what you have to offer. Not the polished, guru-approved version—the real version. The version that comes from your actual experience, your hard-won wisdom, your genuine desire to help.

They're not waiting for you to feel more confident or get another certification or perfect your pitch.

They're waiting for you to believe—really believe—that what you offer has value. That you can help. That your work matters.

Because if you don't believe it, no one else will either.

What Changes When You Focus on Service

When you stop asking "Am I qualified enough?" and start asking "How can I serve?" everything shifts:

    * Your energy becomes magnetic instead of apologetic

    * Your message gets clearer because it's focused on them, not you

    * People respond to your certainty about your ability to help

    * Conversations flow naturally instead of feeling forced

    * Pricing becomes about the value you provide, not what you think you deserve

Your confidence doesn't have to be bulletproof for you to be of service. You just need to be more committed to their transformation than you are attached to your fears.

    A Gentle Challenge

This week, I invite you to have one conversation—just one—where your only goal is understanding how you can help.

Not selling. Not pitching. Just serving.

Ask questions. Listen deeply. Share insights when they're relevant.

And if the moment comes to talk about working together, remember: you're not asking them to take a chance on you. You're offering them a chance to get the help they need.

    There's a big difference.

    Final Thoughts

That $1,000 moment taught me something I'll never forget: people don't hire you because you're perfect. They hire you because they believe you can help them get where they want to go.

And they can only believe that if you believe it first.

What would change if you stopped focusing on your fears and started focusing on their transformation? I'd love to hear about it—hit reply and share your story with me.

When you're ready to stop hiding and start serving, when you're ready to transform that fear into fuel for connection, I created something special for women like us.

Meet Flo, The Money Tree AI—your gentle guide for stepping into soul-aligned visibility and wealth. She sees your gifts when fear makes you forget them. She reminds you who you are when the world tries to make you small.

Because the world is waiting for what you have to share. And so am I.

    To your prosperity,

  • Why Your Best Decisions Never Come From Your Head (And What to Trust Instead)

    Hello Empowered Wayers!

Sometimes, I have to take a news-break and screen-break. Too much is moving too fast and it feels like everyone is holding on with their fingertips, while looking down at the abyss.

Other times, I tend to grasp for certainty through endless analysis. I make pro-and-con lists, ask everyone's opinion, and exhaust myself trying to think my way to the "right" decision.

Instead of avoiding or controlling the uncontrollable, there is another way. In my coaching, writing, and speaking, I highlight the difference between masculine and feminine energies. Think of masculine energy as doing, feminine energy as being.

A balance of both energies creates a meaningful life. It’s when these energies are out of balance that the feminine energy of being can transform chaos into calm, indecision into clarity.

The sacred feminine offers us three powerful principles for navigating decisions, whether we're choosing what to have for breakfast or making life-altering changes. These aren't mystical concepts reserved for spiritual retreats; they're practical tools you can use today to move through our chaotic world with grace and clarity.

    1. Trust Your Inner Knowing Over Mental Loops

The feminine principle invites us to listen below the noise of overthinking. While masculine energy tends to analyze and categorize, feminine wisdom recognizes that your body already knows what serves your highest good.

Before your next decision, try this: Sit quietly and imagine choosing Option A. Notice what happens in your chest, your stomach, your shoulders. Does your body expand or contract? Do you feel lighter or heavier? Now imagine Option B. Your body's response is data—often more reliable than your mental calculations.

I recently watched a client agonize over whether to end a professional relationship that produced more than 50,000 Instagram followers. Her mind created spreadsheets and timelines, but when she dropped into her body, the answer was immediate: a sense of expansion and relief flooded through her when she imagined giving notice. Three months later, she's thriving in her business, wondering why she waited so long to trust what she already knew.

    2. Honor the Rhythm of Unfolding

Masculine energy pushes toward immediate action and linear, measured progress. Sacred feminine wisdom understands that some decisions need time to gestate, like seeds growing in dark soil before they're ready to sprout.

Not every choice needs to be made today. Some of our most important decisions benefit from what I call "sacred incubation"—holding a question lightly while we live our lives and notice what wants to emerge. This doesn't mean endless procrastination; it means recognizing when rushing a decision could cut off possibilities still trying to reveal themselves.

Give yourself permission to say, "I'm sitting with this question" rather than forcing premature clarity. Often, the perfect timing and the perfect solution arrive together when we stop trying to control the process.

    3. Choose Connection Over Competition

The sacred feminine makes decisions through the lens of relationship—not just with others, but with life itself. Instead of asking "How do I win?" or "What's in it for me?", feminine wisdom asks:

"What choice honors my connections and expands love in the world?"

This doesn't mean sacrificing yourself for others or making decisions based on guilt or obligation. It means recognizing that we're all interconnected, and choices that honor this truth tend to create more sustainable happiness for everyone involved.

When you connect with the Divine, the Universe, or Source, your actions are informed by your being. Your perspective enlarges and expands from your own narrow view to encompass a broader view.

As I wrote in my book, “Heart Dancing,” as you “let love lead, you are home.”

When facing a difficult conversation with a friend, instead of strategizing how to be "right," ask yourself: "What would love do here?" When considering a career change, rather than focusing solely on salary or status, explore: "How can this choice allow me to contribute my unique gifts?"

    Living the Practice

These principles transform decision-making from a mental struggle into a sacred practice. They remind us that we don't have to have all the answers immediately, that our bodies carry profound wisdom, and that choices made from love create ripple effects of healing in our world.

The next time you feel overwhelmed by a decision, remember: You are not just your analytical mind. You are a being of infinite wisdom, connected to the sacred feminine energy that has guided humanity through every crisis and transformation.

Trust the knowing that lives beneath your thoughts. Honor the rhythm of your unfolding. Choose connection over separation.

You already have everything you need to navigate whatever comes next.

    To your empowered choices,

    Kathryn

  • Empowered Way: A Sacred Feminine Approach to Money, Wealth & Abundance

    Dear Empowered Wayers:

About ten years ago, I bought the url for EmpoweredWay.com. I had no idea why I needed it or how I was going to use it. It took the upheaval of the pandemic to waken me (and Empowered Way).

The very foundations of our society were shaken. Government closed private businesses, we had mandatory vaccines (even though mostly untested), and last, but certainly not least, quarantine. Isolation, fear, and uncertainty are a toxic recipe for personal growth.

At the time, I was a certified coach in a system called Sacred Money Archetypes. I wrote a book about a spiritual way to be with money (“The Money Tree: Transform Scarcity into Empowered Wealth Consciousness”). And I doubled down on creating ways for women to reconnect to themselves.

Empowered Way began with money. But this was never only about money.

I used money as the doorway because it’s where so many women have been cut off from their sacred power. Money reveals everything: your self-worth, your hidden wounds, and your inherited stories. Because money, in our world built on fear, is the ultimate mirror.

But that was just the entry point.

Empowered Way is not a financial program.

This is a reclamation movement to guide the return of the sacred feminine. As you move forward on the Empowered Way path, you remember the divine economy that moves through trust, reciprocity, beauty, and soul.

it’s the antithesis of the human economy.

At Empowered Way, the common themes woven into every product, course, or offering are:

    * Wealth is not accumulation. It’s alignment.

    * Money is not the goal. It’s a messenger.

    * Success is not scale. It’s sovereignty.

As Empowered Way, you discover the source of love is on the inside. Being comes before doing. And from being, you create what you came here to do, as you receive guidance and love.

It’s not about the external data, metrics, or accumulation of material wealth. Instead, it’s about being authentic, grounded, and radiant in your wholeness.

We start with learning your unique money blueprint. Uprooting old, limiting beliefs about your value, worth, and purpose so you can finally see the patterns sabotaging you. Then, you learn to transform those beliefs into powerful new ways of being.

The end result is presence, which is your greatest wealth.

If the energy of this post resonates with you, I invite you to listen to the new audio course, “Empowered Wealth Consciousness: How to Thrive in the Divine Economy.” It is a gentle way to go within and discover that your presence is the wealth you have been seeking. You will experience a taste of the Divine Economy that waits for you.

The Divine Economy is an energetic field where wealth is created through intention, presence, and embodiment. This is where your true abundance lives.

Only you can step into the consciousness necessary to live in the Divine Economy. It doesn’t happen in an instant. It’s a process of unraveling what you were taught about how the world works. It’s a rediscovering who you are as a daughter of Divine Love. When you know you belong to something greater, and you allow that energy to guide you.

I can only point the way. Until you experience the Divine Economy yourself, you will never understand these words completely.

My hope is you step on the Empowered Way path. The world needs your brilliance to shine.

    To your beingness,

    Kathryn

  • Sovereignty is Remembered, not Discovered

    Dear Empowered Wayers:

In my legal career and later in my coaching business, I noticed a common thread in the women I encountered. They tended to look outward for answers, ready to step in and help or give comfort. The end result was to lose their sense of self and wonder what happened to the “real me”?

I fell into this trap more times than I can count, until I stepped back and saw the process. When I was in the moment, I couldn’t see it. Only when I became an observer of my behavior could I actually see.

I lived too many years being an amnesiac - spiritually. I was blind to my pure essence, my beingness, because I believed it was defined by my doingness.

It wasn’t until I began exploring the idea of sovereignty that it made sense. We talk about countries invading the sovereignty of another, but we never acknowledge the invasion of our personal sovereignty by outside influences. Women are especially vulnerable to these outside forces, because of the culture we live in.

Today, as you read the following, know I am weaving a blanket of words for you to wrap around your shoulders like a loving hug. Breathe intentionally as you read or listen, and allow the energy behind the words to move deeper, past your logical mind to that mystical place waiting inside.

    It’s Time to Remember

There is a wild wisdom that lives in your bones. It is older than the stories told about you, deeper than the roles you've been asked to play, more profound than the limitations others have tried to inscribe on your spirit. This is sovereignty—not as a distant concept, but as a living, breathing remembrance of who you truly are.

Sovereignty is not something granted. It is something remembered.

Imagine your essence as an ancient landscape—a terrain of mountains, forests, and rivers that have witnessed centuries of change yet remain fundamentally unbroken. You are not a fragile construct to be shaped by external winds, but a sovereign territory of infinite depth and resilience.

Close your eyes. Feel the ground beneath you. This is your first kingdom—your body, your presence, your inalienable domain. Here, you are both the queen and the entire realm. Your breath is the wind that moves through your internal forests. Your heartbeat is the rhythm of your own sacred law.

The world will offer you countless scripts—narratives of smallness, of compromise, of fitting into predetermined spaces. Sovereignty whispers something different. It says: You are not here to adjust. You are here to remember.

    What is Sovereignty?

Remember the women who came before you. Not just your bloodline, but the collective lineage of women who have always known—deep in their marrow—that their worth is not negotiable. Your sovereignty is an inheritance, a birthright that cannot be taken, only momentarily forgotten.

Your intuition is your most powerful sovereign tool. It is not a gentle suggestion, but a profound navigation system. When the external noise becomes overwhelming, return to this internal compass. Trust the wisdom that rises from your depths, not the voices that echo from the surface.

Sovereignty is not about perfection. It is about presence. It is about choosing yourself, again and again. Some days, this will look like fierce determination. Other days, it will look like gentle surrender. Both are acts of profound self-love.

Look at your hands. They are not just appendages, but instruments of creation, of healing, of drawing boundaries. They have the power to hold, to release, to craft entire worlds. Your touch carries the memory of generations—of survival, of tenderness, of unbreakable spirit.

In a world that profits from your self-doubt, sovereignty is a revolutionary act. It means understanding that your worth is not measured by external validation, but by the depth of your own self-recognition. You do not need to prove yourself. You simply need to remember yourself.

Your body is not a battlefield to be conquered, but a sacred temple to be honored. Every scar tells a story of survival. Every curve holds a narrative of resilience. Your flesh is not just skin and bone, but a living archive of your journey.

Sovereignty asks you to reclaim your right to complexity. You are not meant to be understood in a single glance, categorized in a simple box. You are a multilayered universe—wild, nuanced, continuously unfolding.

Breathe into the spaces within you that have been silenced. Those quiet corners hold your most powerful magic. Your sensitivity is not weakness, but a profound strength. Your emotions are not turbulence to be controlled, but rivers of wisdom to be listened to.

You are not here to be small. You are not here to make others comfortable. You are here to be fully, gloriously, unapologetically yourself.

Sovereignty is remembrance. It is the moment you look in the mirror and recognize not just your reflection, but the infinite potential that resides within you. It is understanding that your presence is a gift to the world—not because of what you do, but because of who you are.

You are your own permission. You are your own liberation.

    Remember.

    Many blessings,

    Kathryn

  • From Burnout to Blessing

    Hello Empowered Wayers:

You’ve heard the saying, “You teach what you most need to learn.” There’s a reason I became a Women’s Wealth Coach and inspirational author.

But it didn’t start with some divine lightning bolt or grand life plan. I was tired of the grind, exhausted to the point of not wanting to get up in the morning.

I began questioning my career, money goals, and life in general. It was a dark time of doubt, confusion, and judgment. Nothing I did seemed to help, but only made it worse. It was time for a drastic change and shift away from the expected.

To understand how I got to that point, you have to move back in time to the money stories I learned growing up.

    The backdrop to my struggle

I grew up in a household where money was the measuring stick. My father came of age during the Great Depression, which had a profound impact on his relationships, including money. From him, I learned that achievement was prized, goal-setting was expected, and being “successful” meant earning at least six figures.

My mother had a fearful relationship with money. When it flowed, everything was good in the world, but any hint of a threat caused her to worry. Even though her worry never resolved the threat, she continued to speak it out loud. Her happiness seemed to be tied to the security of money and that made a deep impression.

I was the only girl, sensitive to the energy and tension in the household. None of my brothers were bothered by the discussions of “money.” When the negative energy dominated the family, I withdrew to my room, loosing myself in books.

I learned early on that money equaled safety, value, and worth.

So I did what any high-functioning, approval-seeking daughter of that system would do: I went to law school, graduated and began work at a prestigious law firm. I learned how to practice law (surprise! They don’t teach that in law school), advance, and win.

    And I slowly lost myself.

At first, I thought the pressure and stress were just part of the job. But eventually, my body, mind, and soul couldn’t keep up. I burned out, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

    That’s when something cracked open.

    The turning point and opening

I came across a book by Tosha Silver called It’s Not Your Money. I thought, “Well, that’s a cute idea—but obviously, it is my money. I earned it and I worked hard for it.”

As I read more of the book, it dawned on me. I had been chasing money as if it were the cause of security, success, even love. But money isn’t the cause of anything — it’s the effect.

And that insight flipped my world.

“You don’t have to be the Source. You only have to let the Source flow through you.” - Tosha Silver, “It’s Not Your Money”

As you align with Source, abundance can begin to flow. Instead of burnout, I became a channel. And I wanted to share these insights with every woman I met.

That’s when I began writing inspirational fiction as spiritual medicine. The first book was, “Heart Dancing: A Spiritual Alchemy Adventure.” More recently, the “Money Tree: Transform Scarcity Thinking to Empowered Wealth Consciousness” was published.

I knew there was more to my journey. I wanted to heal my relationship with money, wealth and abundance. I became a certified Sacred Money Archetype Coach and focused on women with troubled relationships with money.

    The shift to Empowered Way

Money is energy. It flows or contracts, based on energetic alignment, not your work ethic. Money responds to how we receive, not how we hard we work.

I had been trained to accumulate money through action and control. But what I craved and needed, was to experience money through connection and relationship.

That’s when Empowered Way was born.

I wanted to create a different way to live, earn, give, and receive, rooted in the energy of the Sacred Feminine. Empowered Way honors the invisible, intuitive, deeply powerful energy that women carry. The end result is a unique definition of wealth as well-being.

Wealth as a reflection of inner alignment, not proof of performance.

Now, I have the honor to work with women entrepreneurs who are waking up to these deeper truths:

    * Wealth isn’t your bank account or possessions;

    * Money isn’t something to chase or scheme after;

    * It’s possible to receive wealth from your relationship with Divine Love.

I have learned how to peacefully create abundant wealth.

You are here to thrive and shine

If you’re on this path too, knowing the accepted way hasn’t worked or felt too much, I see you. You’re not crazy, you’re just waking up.

And trust me: there’s another way for women to have a sovereign, peaceful relationship with money, wealth, and abundance.

You just have to say “Yes!” to yourself. I will be waiting for you.

    With love,Kathryn
