Engage Positively To Make A Better World - with Paul Clark

Listen Later

Colin talks to Paul Clark, CEO of HSE Global Series, a global events series in North America, Middle East, United Kingdom, Europe & Africa, providing physical-based events that supply the world’s leading content and senior leadership engagement.

Paul discusses the ways in which we can empower ourselves on a daily basis, and by doing so, ensure that the world is a little bit better each day.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • Affirmations should form a part of our everyday practices. This can help with positive reinforcement, and can serve to improve our environments each day.
  • Whatever we do, and whichever form it takes, the world needs more love. It is our job to make sure we perpetuate this loving input whenever possible.
  • It is part of our nature to pass judgment on others, but this only ever leads to guilt and pain. We must acknowledge the need for acceptance, and allow others to exist without comment.
  • Be consciously aware of everything and anything that takes place - good and bad. The good is an opportunity to be grateful, and negative experiences all contain lessons and opportunities for growth.

 BEST MOMENTS

'it's about looking around at the family you have and people you have, and recognising the value there'

'We always feel better when we take control'

'As humans we are very judgmental of other people'

'You can always be aware of the experiences that you've had'
