  • Ep. 83 - How I've Failed My Way Up

This audio is taken from my FB Live video yesterday. The message is clear, but I wanted to share it to show the types of things I'm talking about on FB Live that are getting good responses, and that I am turning into what I am calling "Micro Ads." (Just made that up. Feel free to steal it).

Failing is important. We all know that. But it's important to reiterate that because that is part of your story. And if you're in business, you have to tell stories. Sometimes the same stories over and over.

  • Ep. 81 - How I Build My Email List Using Facebook Live

Facebook Live is starting to look like a great tool for lead generation. I've always heard that Facebook favors their own platform, but the results and reach I am getting after doing lives for two weeks is just a crazy jump.

  • Ep. 80 - A Cool Way to Generate Leads

I know I talk a lot about Russell Brunson on here, but he's just really good at marketing.

I heard a great interview with him talking about how to curate youtube videos, help entrepreneurs save time, and build your email list in the process!

  • Ep. 78 - Why My First Business Failed

Sales. It's a bit of a dirty word.

But if you want to be in business, you either have to learn to sell, or hire someone that does. Period.

Want to get more stories like this one? I'm making a real effort to do a Facebook Live everyday teaching legal and business lessons!

All you have to do to get the free trainings is like my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/llcfreedom!

  • Ep. 77 - Where You Were to Where You Are (Marketing Stories)

There are a few cool ways to incorporate stories into your business so you're not just selling all the time.

My favorite is Lie, Truth, Stroy - Where you identify a lie that your customer believes, tell them the truth, and then tell a story about how you discovered the truth.

Then there's PSO - Problem, Solution, Offer.

A new one I'm working with on my Facebook Lives (facebook.com/llcfreedom) is telling people what it used to be like, where I wanted to go, and how I got to where I am now (using some tool). It's a simple, easy way to incorporate more personal stories into your podcasts, FB Lives, Instagram Stories, whatever.

  • Ep. 75 - How to Create a Marketing Story

I was really inspired by a video I saw of Russell Brunson giving a presentation about a course he's releasing.

It wasn't the course materials that I inspired by, it was the way that Russell Brunson can weave a story into every single point he makes! He rarely ever falls into technobabble without telling a story that helps the listener understand the context of what he's explaining.

I doubt I'll ever be as good as him, but I understand all the pieces on how to get that done, so I am going to try and implement it with my FB lives.

  • Ep. 74 - Why You Should Rely on an Attorney for Legal Advice

I got caught in a Facebook blackhole yesterday when a Financial Advisor, whatever that means, tried to refute some advice I gave to a business owner about needing to start an LLC rather than operating as a sole proprietor.

This was his argument - "An LLC provides the same protections as a Sole prop." That's simplistic, but ultimately, that was his argument.

Here's my reply - You sir, are a fool!
