What do Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association Board Members actually do when they fly out to Washington, DC? Is it just schmoozing with lawmakers and looking at monuments? Not even close.

Growers study issues, prepare for fast-paced and informational meetings, and gain the trust of legislators, embassy representatives, and companies. They meet with several people a day, and are often running from early morning until late into the night.

In this episode Luke also answers some true or false questions about advocacy work and expands on the importance of being involved.
