Rachel Munday has been a huge part of the fabric of the Manitoba running community: it all started at the Running Room where she worked as the Regional Manager and Events Lead, putting on races all year long and getting people involved with her infectious smile and attitude. She has now been the Executive Director of the Manitoba Marathon for seven years and her hard work and determination are the reasons that the event has survived the turmoil of the past three years. Rachel discusses this year's mid-race cancellation due to extreme heat and looks towards brighter days, as the Manitoba Marathon will celebrate its 45th anniversary in 2023.
