"Breaking The Chain" is a new documentary, executive produced by Anjelica Huston, that shows how PETA's Community Animal Project helps animals around the Norfolk, Virginia area, especially the chained dogs in the area. Many are abused, malnourished, and tethered mercilessly to a chain. PETA has forced local and state officials to establish anti-tethering laws. It's a model for the country. The documentary also addresses the problem with no-kill shelters, and why avoiding euthanasia is not the answer to the dog and cat overpopulation problem.
