Jackie Day is an author, teacher, a JD, but she's no vegan cop. She doesn't believe in guilting people into being vegan, but she gently helps them find their best reason to be vegan. Her book "The Vegan Way" isn't a recipe book, really. It's more like a guide to help you get to your destination as prescribed by the book's subtitle, "21 days to a happier, healthier, plant-based lifestyle that will transform your home, your diet, and you."
In this fun conversation with podcast host/writer/fellow vegan Emil Guillermo, Day describes how she became vegetarian for the animals as a child, then 10 years later became a vegan after talking to an animal rights activist after a protest.
"The Vegan Way" is available were books are sold.
Emil Guillermo is certified in Plant-based Nutrition and a graduate of the T.Colin Campbell/E-Cornell nutrition studies program.
