Jimmy Kimmel's Oscars hosting streak has come to an end. Kimmel, who has hosted the Oscars four times, stated that he “always dreamed of hosting the Oscars exactly four times,” so when he was asked to host the 2025 Oscars on March 2, he took a pass. John Mulaney was one of the leading candidates to host the 2025 Academy Awards should Kimmel decline, but Mulaney has passed as well due to “scheduling conflicts.” A wax figure of legendary Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor was unveiled at the National Wax Museum in Dublin, and it was ... not good.
