Roger, a Chicago native, tells stories about growing up in a family of entertainers, an experience he had with David Letterman and Jane Lynch and another about his late brother ABC newscaster, Judd Rose.

He shares how his dream of doing network promos came true and what he had to do to find the sound, rhythm and pitch that CBS wanted for the promos for The Big Bang Theory and 2 Broke Girls.

He shares the lengths he has gone to in order to land promo gigs and expresses gratitude for his former voiceover agent who taught him to study the trends in the business. 

Roger talks about his audition process for commercials and promos and offers some tips for timing in promos that has helped him from having done looping and anime.
