Brian Dickinson is a former Navy aviation rescue swimmer who is also a mountaineer that has summited Everest. After summiting the world's highest peak solo, Brian lost his sight to snow blindness and completed his descent with the ability to see. His trek from the summit was expected to take 2-3 hours and ended up taking 7 hours of feeling his way down.
