This Auburn team and its fans would not be denied a win against Kentucky with the college basketball world watching on CBS. A sluggish, uncertain start put the Tigers in 10 point hole, but they relied on their defense and began to chip away. A four point halftime deficit was quickly eliminated as Auburn took better care of the ball and hit a ton of big shots in the second half. Walker Kessler and Oscar Tschibwe had a terrific battle as two of the elite interior players in the SEC, with Walker being named our MVP. The depth of this team, however, continues to be the difference. Auburn is now 7-0 in the SEC and should be claiming the #1 spot in the AP Poll on Monday for the first time in school history.
