This week Jess welcomed Cortnie Kemp to the podcast.

On this episode Cortnie shares her postnatal depression journey and how she turned her life around through mind-body connection. She explains the positive health benefits of breathwork & fire and ice, and shares her tips on how we can enhance our own mind-body-soul connection. 

Cortnie is a Somatic Practitioner & Sacred Union Facilitator, Breathwork Coach, and Contrast Therapy Instructor. She created her business, Elements of Wellbeing, through her journey into motherhood. She was an overwhelmed, stressed-out mum, crippled with postnatal depression. She tried all the things: high-intensity exercise, yoga, meditation, gratitude, medications. Nothing was working. Something was missing. 

She discovered Sacred Union and Integrative Movement, and it changed her whole perception of herself and her life. It helped her move through her postnatal depression and bring that mind-body connection that she was missing. It’s something we aren't taught, but it's so important.

She is dedicated to guiding women into a deeper sense of self-empowerment through all the elements that have helped her. Her mission is to create a warm and nurturing space where you can unwind, breathe, and rediscover the wisdom within your own body.
