Chuck and Stacey sit down with Emmy nominated actress and versatile voice over actor, Tasia Valenza. Known for her memorable characters like Dottie in the daytime drama, All My Children and in animation and video games, Shaak Ti, Poison Ivy, Sniper Wolf, Kaliyo and Black Dahlia from Metal Gear Solid, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Batman Arkham, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the podcast Hollywood & Crime.


Originally from New York, Tasia talks about knowing early on that she wanted to be a performer and with encouragement from her Mom would go on to pursue an acting career that included landing a role in the Louie Malle film, CRACKERS, with Donald Sutherland and Sean Penn and Dottie on All My Children. Tasia eventually moved to Los Angeles to explore more acting opportunities that led her to voice over acting and marrying the love of her life. She believes in setting intentions, creating the reality that you want and living in a state of gratitude and recommends reading the books The Psychology of Achievement by Brian Tracy and A Complaint Free World by Will Bowen.

Tasia Valenza, shares her approach to auditioning and the importance of ongoing voice over training, coaching and studying your craft. Some of her tips for auditions include using a lead-in to the copy, experimenting with the pace, not wearing headphones and creating the scene of who, what, where, when and why. She reflect on how she has navigated through the slow times in her career by creating passion projects and giving back in a meaningful way.
