The fast lane is all about getting somewhere quickly, often with sights on passing others to be first. This is not really a God perspective. God takes the long view to accomplish eternal purposes that transcend time and space and manifest His goodness for His kids. God is relational and relationship is much more about journey and process than it is about objective. Actually, relationship with ALL of His kids in all dimensions of who they are and conforming them into the image of Love IS Love’s objective.
