We have the opportunity to talk with Adam Donahue, one of the business directors at Dometic North America. The reason we wanted to speak with him was the recent acquisition of Kampa and the integration with Dometic. Of the many cool products Kampa offers, Dometic is bringing the enclosed rooms and tents to the U.S. market. These are some cool products that are air-inflatable and have no poles! This means a small storage footprint for us RVers that want to add this extra room outside of our RV.

We also got the opportunity to talk with Adam about the excellent coolers and portable lithium batteries that Dometic sells. It appears as though Dometic is becoming more than an appliance company and are becoming an “outdoors” company. The cooler technology and the huge product line that Kampa brings are expanding their footprint in the outdoor and RV world.
