The boobingit podcast

Ep. 29: In conversation with award-winning parenting author Bex Oxtoby

Listen Later

Our special guest on the podcast this week is award-winning parenting author Bex Oxtoby.

Bex has written a series of books called ‘Mums the Word’ which depict the honest and funny moments of early motherhood. From the joy and fear of birth to grappling with breastfeeding and stinky baby bums – Bex tells it like it is. So popular have the books been, that they were voted the Best Gift for Mum in the Project Baby Awards in 2021.

In this episode, we talk about the struggles of early motherhood, the unrealisitic expectations we often have as well as the unsolicited parenting advice we wish we weren’t given.

Bex opens up about her own birth experience and breastfeeding journey with her daughter, as well as her struggles with body image since having her child.
