One of the highlights of the first day at SBC Summit Lisbon is the SBC First Pitch Competition. Taking place in Conference Room One on Tuesday 24 September, Match Hype, Random State, SavageTech, StatX Sports and XGENIA will all be pitching in a bid to win a prize valued at over €118,000.

And this will be the focus of today’s episode of iGaming Daily, supported by Optimove. Jessica Welman, Editor of SBC Americas, is joined by Jesse Learmonth, host of the competition, and the Betting Startups podcast, to talk about what to expect from next week’s event.

As well as looking back at the best moments from previous First Pitch competitions and Jesse’s own experience founding a startup, the duo offer their top tips for a winning pitch, which include the importance of story-telling and creating a visually exciting presentation.
