Ruth is famous today in Israel as one of the Great Matriarchs of the Tribe of Judah! Grandmother to King David and Jesus Christ, she is proof that a good woman, no matter her background, can rise in the Kingdom of God to be one honored and beloved.

The Book of Ruth, that is in our Bibles, was written by the Prophet Samuel. In this episode we fill in the parts of the story that have been left out, setting us up to better understand both Jesse and King David too. A special thank you to actor Jim Jepson for his voice talents.
