Ezra has been fasting and praying seeking answers to some of the very same questions that you and I are seeking today amid the chaos all around us.

As wickedness seems to be gathering all around us again in our day, and the answers given to us too often feel like skim milk, when meat is what we are craving. The Lord's answers to Ezra are more than welcome.

The Archangel Uriel is one who was known to our ancestors but never much mentioned today. He is however, the angel who was sent to Ezra to help him understand and then prepare the return of the Jews to Jerusalem in preparation for the coming birth of the Messiah whose exact day of Visitation had been given to the Prophet Daniel.

In this episode we will meet him and come to appreciate him as another guardian of the Children of Men. We will also come to see how Ezra was able to wrestle information from the Most High. It is a worthy lesson to learn as there are so many similarities in the sorrows and needs of Judah in Babylon to the sorrow and needs of Ephraim in refuge.

Welcome to Season 7 of the Gospel Feast Podcast. For this season we are going to feast on the only book that used to be in the King James Bible but was removed. It is written by the prophet Ezra who used the title Malachi as a pen name from time to time.

Since Ezra was writing at the Lord's command deep in the sorrows of a rapidly collapsing world which made little sense to the faithful, the lessons that he offers and the understandings that the Lord preserved through him are more than pertinent to our modern, confusing time, right before the very 2nd Coming! It is also the only officially canonized book we have that speaks of the Archangel Uriel.

We have reached the end of an amazing book! One that many have read but few have really feasted on. In our yearly rotation of holy scripture, Revelation comes at the end (late November or December) when we are always eager to celebrate our Thanksgiving for Christ and his birth, so this is a book we never really study together, even though it is a book strongly recommended by the scriptures of the Restoration. We hope that, in a small way, this season has helped rectify this.
We hope that this season has been a grand feast for you and that you will never read John’s book again without rejoicing that you are, as Elder McConkie labeled, “one of the few favored in the church." We have one last chapter to enjoy, so… Even So….

At last, at last the marriage of the Lamb! In this episode we will explore the return of our Lord Jesus Christ and the great celebration that will be His wedding celebration with Lady Zion, His Church and Kingdom.
It is important to remember that the Prophet Joseph Smith said that the coming of Kingdom would be like a woman giving birth. Terrible moments of pain interspaced with moments of peace and growing excitement. As the deliver got closer so would the moments of pain become longer. We however were encouraged to remember that once the babe is in arms, all that is left is great and tremendous joy! As we witness the trials, wars and mere rumors of possible wars, mingled with human stupidity, it is wonderful to keep that growing excitement that all we see now will be but a past memory, when our bridegroom comes and blows it all away. Even so… Come Lord Jesus.  Let’s get started!

We hope you enjoyed our three episode centennial celebration into Joseph Smith’s astonishing work in ancient Egyptian. We hope that it was testimony building or affirming.
But now it is time to get back into the Book of Revelation. We left off exploring how this book is really a menorah of light where the first half of the book is expanded and re-encapsulated by the second half. We paused where during the 5th seal, John saw the great anti-christ rise up and how a mark was required on all men in order to buy or sell. We heard the Lord declare that any getting the mark would be cast off with one exception, those who were sealed with the seal of God would be spared. In this episode we are going to see how that sealing came about.
