The European Commission sided in favour of Entain to put to bed a near five-year court case on whether the arrangement breached Article 107(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (‘TFEU’), which focuses on state aid.

Elsewhere in sunny(ish) Gibraltar, an arrest warrant has been issues to former Mansion CEO Karel Manasco who stands accused of embezzling well over 2 million euros from the company. Manasco is arguing bias against him in the case, and failed to attend his arranged sentencing for contempt of court on Wednesday 9 April. Joe steps into the host's chair for the second half, and helps Ted get to the bottom of this one.

To round it off, Joe gets Ted's opinion on Gary Vaynerchuk and Katy Perry, very rarely seen together in the same sentence but that's just part of the charm of iGaming Daily!
