Jesus prayed that we would be one, even as He and the Father are one. Jesus also gave us the commandment to love as He loves. However, human beings, and unfortunately especially the church, have a track record of gathering around doctrine instead of the Person of Christ, Who is other-giving Love. Doctrines tend to separate and divide us, especially when they cause us to judge and withhold love. We are to be known for our love for one another, not our doctrine. Pastors Rick & Sheila believe that the arts are a vital part of worship. While Pastor Rick has mentored many in musical worship, Pastor Sheila has mentored many in interpretive dance worship. She has established dance teams throughout the southeast and they have ministered from Detroit, to Orlando, to Birmingham, to the National Day of Prayer in Washington, DC.

Pastors Rick & Sheila’s are first and foremost worshippers with a desire to see all expressions of worship bring glory to God. Too many times in the past, the church has not made room for special anointings to be released in worship and those with such gifts have gone to the world to express their talents that were meant for God. It is time to embrace those who do not “fit” into our molds and promote them in the Kingdom.

As a Father’s heart ministry under the Apostolic mantle, it is Pastors Rick & Sheila’s desire to raise up sons and daughters in the faith by embracing the plan, purpose, destiny, calling, and vision that God placed in each of them, and to see them go farther than any one has been before.

Rick and Sheila currently pastor Impact Church. Impact Church is a multi-ethnic IPHC CHURCH in Orangeburg, SC where people are so valued and impacted by the love of the Father that they impact others. This is a place where all are embraced in Love and where worship is a CELEBRATION of the Christ in everyone!
