In this special we welcome one of Scotland's best kent faces in Alan Tait.  Alan has been a top class golfer, he is a PGA professional and has worked within golf all of his adult life.  He does much work for the BBC on radio and television and is also one of the most popular after dinner speakers in the country.

This chat went on so long we have decided to split it into two seperate episodes.  In this episode (part 1) we talk about Alan's golfing career from his junior days right through to his time on the European Tour.  We also talk about the PGA Tartan Tour and how it has changed over the years as well as Alan's famous 64 at Carnoustie!  Oh and we also hear about his game with Tiger.....
