Doug is a best-selling author, world-renowned speculator and libertarian philosopher with more than 40 years experience investing in the natural resource sector. His first book, “Crisis Investing”, where he discusses how to profit from periods of economic turmoil, spent multiple weeks as #1 on the New York Times bestseller list and became the best-selling financial book of 1980.

Since then, Doug has written four books, and has appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows sharing his insights into politics, economics and investment markets.
