Journalist-turned-memoirist Wilhelmson won an IPPY for her unflinching memoir “Diary of an Alcoholic Housewife.” She’s working on her second memoir, “Thank You Ashely Madison,” which can be previewed at www.thankyouashley.blogspot.com. Brenda has written for CNN, Chicago Tribune, Huffington Post, and Chicago Reader. She lives with her two sons in a Chicago suburb.
