Creighton Muller from Tacoma Washington built his 1956 chop top custom Beetle in 1955. It was a brand new car. His parents never knew he chopped it until they saw it parked next to another Beetle. He did traditional hot rod influenced modifications to it. The chop retains a full size windshield, channeled body & right hand drive. click on the link to see the pictures. it was also featured in 1993 VW Trends
