In this episode I have Melieka Fathi, a professional Iranian dancer from California on the show. Not many people know this but I was an active dancer up to the age of 21 and have many years of training and research under my belt. We sit and talk about all things dance in order to do some "farhang sazi" and inject more knowledge about this art form into general society who doesn't get enough CORRECT knowledge about it.
From our origin stories, to what constitutes a REAL dancer, to dissecting movements and techniques, this was a conversation that (as Iranians say) CHASBID!
