In 1975, philosopher Peter Singer argued for the end of tyranny by human animals over non-human animals. His book "Animal Liberation," has been an ethical compass for several generations of animal rights activists. In this conversation with Emil Guillermo, Singer talks about the changes in the last five decades, how his book helped bring about those changes, and how there's still much work to do to convince society that speciesism is wrong.
