In 2001, Macquarie Medispa opened their first location in Bathurst and made quite a name for itself and has been a true small business success story. Employing 21 skin and beauty therapists across two locations, five expert specialists from Sydney who visit the Medi spas fortnightly in the fields of anti-wrinkle, laser and cosmetic tattooing, In 2016 the business took on a second location in Orange. 

What makes Macquarie Medispa stand out amongst the crowd is their award winning titles including winning the World Luxury Spa Award for 2018, the ABIA’s beauty salon/spa of the year and the salon team of the year. 

Karla herself has taken out the titles of Spa Director of the year in 2018 and the 2018 ABIA’s Business Owner of the Year award.

The medi spa stocks 7 brands of which they have won the Pure Fiji Stockist of the year and the Dermalogica Global winner award, where Karla got to fly to dinner and meet Jane Wurund, Founder of Dermalogica.
