Andre is a husband, father, gym owner, trainer, and was named the fittest trainer in the world by men’s health magazine.
I connected with Andre after seeing a video of him deadlifting way more than I can on the internet… but what really piqued my interest is how he is using fitness as a tool to help him become a better father.
Today Andre and I talk about the importance of fitness for busy dads, tips and strategies on how we can become more fit, the types of foods we should be eating, and how we can start showing up as better fathers in and out of the gym.

Today I’ve got on Jordo Mederich.
Jordo is a husband, father, and business owner. Jordo is the founder of DropFunnels, which is an all-in-one marketing solution to get you online with a website in minutes.
I wanted to have a discussion with Jordo because his approach to balancing entrepreneurship and fatherhood is one that I agree with, and I was curious as to how he can find that balance.
All of us, whether you are a business owner or not, are looking for some type of freedom and flexibility so that we can be with our families as much as possible. And yet, we also have this other side of us that wants to achieve and excel in the workplace - and finding the balance between these two is usually messy business.
Today Jordo and I talk about his journey to becoming an entrepreneur as a father, some of the lessons he has learned along the way, and how we can strike that balance between being a high performer and a great father.

We always tell ourselves, I'll be happy when... I'll be content when...
As high performing Dads, we are always striving for the next thing. But it's easy to fall into the trap of never being satisfied.
But time goes by... whether we want it to or not.
Today, I talk about shifting your mindset to a be, do, have strategy.

Today I’ve got on Nick Krantz.
Nick is a husband, father, and online fitness and nutrition coach - better known by his handle neurofitnick
Nick has suffered over 17 concussions and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), beginning in high school as a football player, with numerous concussions continuing through his playing career and long after. After trying everything the doctor’s could throw his way, Nick found hope and recovery through more natural and holistic methods - which we will discuss today.
Along this path to self-recovery, Nick learned that the actions, routines, and habits he was leaning into to help with his TBI’s, helped him also become a better father.
Today Nick helps men and women from all walks of life to get into better shape, improve their mental state, and build discipline. I love Nick’s simple approach to peak performance as a father. Most often, the simpler we can keep things, the more consistent we will be.

Discipline, routines, habits, and self development are key to growth. And growth enables you to show up as a better person than you were before.
But sometimes we can take it to the extreme - sacrificing family time to “pour into ourselves”.
At the end of the day - our job as Dads is to sacrifice what is important to us for what is important to the family. You need to be “filling up your cup” so that you can show up for your family, but never at the expense of your family.
Today we talk through one strategy called “dad hours” to help put a frame around personal development as a Dad.
