Let’s face it. The numbers game? It doesn’t work. We’ve all gotten those DMs. You know the ones — the random, generic messages that lead straight into a pitch. Or, we’ve gotten the huge list of notifications of likes and a comment or two along with a follow. Just to follow them back and never hear from them again.

I would think we can all agree that that kind of marketing doesn’t work — and yet, I bet we’ve all tried some variation of that. I know I think back on some of the things I’ve done and tried and just absolutely cringe. Or maybe you don’t enjoy doing those things, but you do — because that’s the advice you keep seeing, and you don’t know how else to grow your audience and make it work.

In today’s episode, I’m going to cover what not to do, and what you can do instead to truly grow your audience. (Although, I probably mean growth in a different way than you do right now.) If you want to stop with the quotas, the bots, the hashtag searches and not feel spammy and gross — there’s a better way and I’m going to show you how.
