For episode 50 (!), Jon, Scotty, Ryan (DSX Motorsports) and Tasso (OTC Racing) talk about how important it is to use the time you have in the offseason so that you and your car are ready to race next season.
Now that colder weather is setting in and winter is right around the corner, it means that for most of us, the season is wrapping up. Whether you were able to make it through a full season of racing, or your season ended a little earlier with a failure that demands attention, most likely the start of the offseason means that you have a car in your garage that needs some work.
The great thing about the winter months is that you have time to work on those winter projects without the pressure of an event. But if you don't start thinking about what you want or need to do, those months can be gone in a blink, and you might end up having to rush through the final prep of your car for the first event of the season. Or worse yet, miss that first event because your car isn't ready.
