"Always hold on to Smallville..."
Those were Jonathan Kent's final words in Smallville,
which from 2001 to 2011 chronicled the trials and tribulations of a
young Clark Kent on his journey from farm boy to Superman. Host Zach
Moore is taking them to heart and will be covering each and every
episode of the hit TV series than ran for 10 seasons and over 200
episodes on the WB/CW...and ushered in the golden age of superhero
television we're currently enjoying today!
This week Zach is again joined by Nick Magdoza to discuss the eleventh episode of Smallville, "Hug." We take our time with this discussion, clocking in at over an hour and a half...most of which consists of Nick concocting fanboy justifications for every plot-hole we come across. We also decide "Touch" would've been a more appropriate name for this episode, as a surprisingly low amount of hugs (0) occur in an episode with that as the title.
NEXT WEEK: We'll be breaking format next week with our second Superman Special featuring a round table discussion on the first season of Supergirl!
