In this episode, we discuss two new articles relating to Covid during pregnancy. Then we look at new data regarding the safety of birth at freestanding birth centers. Next we discuss initiatives in California that have led to a reduction in the rate of Cesarean delivery. We also discuss a new study that quantifies the impact that surgeon skill has on patient outcomes and ways to improve surgeon skill. We discuss several unnecessary things done at the time of Gyn surgeries and procedures. Finally, we discuss the role of minimally invasive hysterectomy for cervical cancer.
