After planning a late-night attempt to retrieve her stolen cat from her ex-neighbor, Lee finds herself suddenly overwhelmed by exhaustion and too drowsy to drive. She pulls over in her old neighborhood to take a quick nap. Believing she slept for only a few hours, she heads back to her mom’s house the following morning — only to discover that, according to her family, she had been missing for nearly three days.
