Spring Bear Series Part Four. On this installment of our bear series Kevin & Pete are joined by local hunter Taylor Nairn. Taylor is a blue-collar hunter, working dad of three, husband and bear hunter. Taylor shares with us his story into hunting and talks finally harvesting a black bear after three years of struggles. Taylor explains how season after season of coming up empty he finally was able to cut his first spring bear tag and shares with us his amazing story of cutting his tag on a monster second bear. With two bears down in a short period Taylor was able to get a good portion of bear fat. He shares with us his process of rendering the fat into oil and the multiple uses him and his family have found for it.
